De Ville Apartments

We booked 2 bedroom apartment. When we entered apartment on 4th floor there was a damp smell or mouldy smell which was terrible .the apartment was very old and had no air conditioning . My family refused to stay there so they drove back to Brisbane after the event we attended. The only positive was that it had sea view and it was big. ..I would not recommend it to anyone. We wasted money on an old smelly apartment

Stay away!!! We had an awful experience.The reviews do not reflect the actual reality. The apartment was super dirty. We had a cocaroach inside, and the floor, furniture, and cutlery were disgusting.The customer service and the staff were very RUDE and unwelcoming. They were not interested in helping us with anything at all.It was one of the worst experiences we ever had, and we paid a fortune for it, $540aud per night.

We stayed here over Christmas in a budget two bedroom ocean view apartment. While the apartment was budget style looking like it was built in the 70s or 80s and had had very little renovation done, the view by far made up for the budget style. We would stay here again!!!!

Worst accommodations ever! No air conditioner in the bedrooms and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Dry is out of order too. Ocean view is limited because of a few big trees. Even though the reception said all the appartments are owned by different owners and they are all different. I still believe they should set some standards for the owners to follow. At least install air conditioners in the bedrooms. Don’t stay here!!!

Room was lovely, pool was great and excellent location- however, the low star rating is for a SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. We were on the 6th floor and all bedroom windows opened the entire way (some up to a meter wide maybe) and had NO screens. Also, they are very easy to open. Anyone with young children should avoid at all costs. Is this even legal in Australia? Pic shows hight and size of windows (didn't take one when open).

Disappointing service. Was sent an email 3 months after booking advising the 3 bedroom apartment we had booked was now unavailable however they could accommodate us in a 2 bedroom. We advised we needed a 3 bedroom and we’re told ‘We are fully booked and have nothing but you can have the 2 bedroom for the same money.One quick check on their website shows multiple 3 bedroom apartments available… however are much higher prices.Poor management, when questioned about it - no reply. Obviously wanting a higher tariff and more money so they will cancel your booking at the 11th hour.Recommend people stay well clear. Much newer and better complexes with non greedy management out there for less money.

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment with DeVille Apartments for a weeks stay in Main Beach. Absolutely stunning views right in the waters edge. Amazing staff at the reception, always so kind and responsive! The apartment was in the heart of everything, across the road is the surf lifesaving club with delicious food, and you are able to swim literally off your doorstep! The Uber ride into surfers is roughly $7 and takes 5 min. Or you can jump on the e-bikes or walk the esplanade for amazing views. Overall this apartment was amazing!! Will be defs coming back to this apartment for our next stay!!

Old and outdated room, appliances and cheap furniture. Terrible showerhead with no pressure, bathroom sink kept backing up and draining very slowly. No aircon in the bedroom, only 1 very small TV. Stain on the doona. Definitely needs to be refurbished.The lady at reception was nice.Location was good, beach and surf club were just across the road and shopping centre close by. Nice views and good breezes.

Lucky enough to stay on Level 25 - amazing beach and gold coast views! The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-equipped (kitchen, laundry and bathrooms), easily accessible, underground parking, friendly staff, well maintained. (We went for the view rather than a renovated apartment but our room was perfectly fine).Great pool and spa, Australia Fair shopping centre close by, very short trips to theme parks.Highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.(Vacuum cleaner didn't work and no replacement was provided despite requests but who wants to vacuum on holidays anyway??)

Great location. But what was disappointing was there was no air-conditioning and there was construction happening for 8hrs a day. The construction was that loud that we were unable to even use our room between 9am and 4pm. I cannot believe that this was not told, or explained to us. We paid full price for a room that was unusable. Will not be staying here again and will definitely not be recommending this establishment to anyone. Just a terrible experience.
