Great day out with the family. 1st time taking our 7 year old son. Loved Tobogganing! Food a bit expensive tho and our coffee wasnt piping hot but a great day anyway. Park at carpark 1 which is the closest to the resort if you can!

One of the nearest snow mountains from Melbourne city, which is around 3 hours drive. When we reached there, we got some fresh snows from morning but not snowing then. Good place to spend a day doing skiing ⛷️, tobogganing and enjoying snows. This place is relatively small compare to Buller. But if you are visiting during the peak winter, it is recommended that you wear some warm clothes, snow boots and hand gloves. You can hire them from here as well, there are enough if them here. Normal shoes are slippery to walk in the snow. There are good restaurants, you can sit there and warm your selves having some pizza, coffee etc. If you are driving to the mountain, make sure you carry the snow chains for your vehicle, you can hire them at the gate. It is mandatory to carry one during winter, but needs to wear it only if it snows and roads are slippery. Only last few kilometres, may be around 3 to 4km has risk of snows, but mostly they clear the snow from the road. There is enough car parking at the mountain top, but if it is filled, you have to park it at the gate and take the shuttle bus service.

Great experience with the family. Easy to access, helpful people, great views, awesome service, restful experience and the best of all - lots of snow to play and enjoy! A must visit for all!

Seems be better this year, probably because of the heavy snow. Does get packed. Food options are simple and gets packed during peak hour, kinda pricey and fairly average but to be expected. Get in early to avoid 2wd cars with chains. No issues climbing up the hill with the 80 series. Worth a visit.

Mt Baw Baw only had T-Bar, no lift. There are place to rent all your equipments in the village too. Perfect place for those who seek to do some low budget day trip or Ski.

The best snow resort I've been. More activities, bigger and wide area, well organised, thick snow, even parking is very smooth and people are very nice and friendly.Suggest book everything in advance and online. Weekend there's a live band during the day. Be careful in the road always.

Our visit was probably too early in the season so no snow other than the man made ones. Still enough to get some activities done. Toboggan slide was fun for kids. As a first time visitor had to hunt for information. They need to have some kind of information kit for visitors.

It was a disappointing experience as there was some confusion with the toboggan run. We bought magic carpet lift for the family only to find the Frosti Frog run was closed. Contacted the management and were told it was opened but on the other side. We missed the fine print when purchasing the pass thinking the barcode was the ticket, which we should have gone to the office to exchange for tag. Even so, the distance to the opened toboggan run was actually 3x walking distance of Frosti Frog. Carrying 5 toboggan with impatient kids doesn’t help. Suggested to them to make a sign for the opened toboggan run instead.

Family friendly, in a right size and not too crowded, it's well maintained ski resort for beginners and intermediate ski lovers. Also has quite a few cross country ski trails that suits for different skill levels. Plus there are trials for MTB in non-snow seasons.
