Absolutely amazing service from beginning to end. I couldn't fault one aspect of my experience with SR Automotive and highly recommend them to anyone. They were very informative and helpful with explaining what occured during my service plus recommendations for my tyres. Stewart and his team are a credit to the local community!!

Cannot recommend Stewart and his team highly enough! They sorted out my car engine issue thoroughly and I'll now be taking my pride and joy back to SR Automotive instead of the Holden dealer. I have been using Stewart and his team for about 15 years. Stewart has almost become part of the family in helping my daughters with their old Clangers while learning to drive as well as keeping my various cars running at their very best. Can not recommend these guys for service and attention to detail highly enough.

Outstanding service! Only needed a Roadworthy certificate, but they accommodated me so quickly and they were incredibly professional.5 stars fellas!

Started out good, a few reasonable fixtures but the last few visits were over priced and not much done. I've since found another mechanic who has fixed a simple hose connected to the turbo, a few hundred dollars as aposed to a new Turbo Charger I was quoted over $3k. Unbelievable they couldn't see the cracks in the hose.

I had a service at at SR Automotive , with this service, I requested handbrake be adjusted as well. When I collected my car, Stewart , the business owner said he personally did the handbrake repair,but totally botched it. The worst noise from back end, and he said “it’ll go away”..I asked him three times to do something, but kept saying it’s fine. I had another mechanical engineer check it, and they said the whole repair was done so badly,and that Stewart would have known by the sound it made. He damaged the rotors very badly, so all this needed re-doing. Stewart refused to do anything about it and made the excuse that I haven’t told him what I want done about it, yet I spoke to him three times after his repair went wrong, and kept with the “it’ll go away” excuse too. The mechanic I went to after this also said the whole service pretty much mad they been done except oil change, and blamed his staff. Myself and two others who went there for serving noticed that our servicing schedule reminders were cleared. And coincidentally, he expects customers to bring cars twice as often as manufacturers recommend.. you can’t ruin a job so badly and just pass it off as “it’s my staff fault, and it’ll go away”.

Highly recommend. SR Automotive are honest and well priced. They pride themselves on preventive mechanics and have got my car running like a dream. I book regular services twice yearly. They have been looking after our families cars for over 15 years from everyday vehicles, to prestige and performance.

Worst mechanic I’ve ever been to, brought my girlfriends Mazda 6 in to get diagnosed for it idling incorrectly, got charged for them to have a look, fixed the issue myself at home and a few other things and it didn't fix it so we took it elsewhere and it turns out it was a split hose which they would have easily seen if they inspected the car correctly.. Also took my mother in laws Territory here and they just completely gave up and sent it to an auto electrician, lied about dates repeatedly! Will not be coming back or recommending to anybody.
