Phoned them today for spare parts for my Honda outboard. They were rude, arrogant and unhelpful. I suspect that they are also incompetent. If you need parts or service for your outboard, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Rang them today wanting Honda oil and was asked why I wanted it and I said I need filter and oil to do a service which they replied no we don't sell bottles oil to public if you want to bring it in to do service we can do it for you. i have contacted Honda Australia and they have assured me they should of sold me the oil and filter and are unsure why they have acted this way

After being ripped off by port performance I've found a Friendly and Honest marine mechanic that stands by his work. I wasn't overcharged and the correct parts installed . This bloke isn't a thieving business man and willing to help his customers rather than rip them off. I'm impressed.

I have had more than a dozen interactions with Andrew and Dennis and have found both Andrew and Dennis to be very helpful and knowledgable. Andrews' work is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone. I am a business owner and can appreciate sometimes customers don't like to here the news they don't like but is ultimately the result of a lack of proper maintenance or budget constraints. Lets face it bats are expensive toys (B.O.A.T - break out another thousand). Andrews work is high quality and he has always been accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend Nelson bay Outboards.

I went to this bloke several times. Andrew is a straight shooter. I like that. Gives good free advice, does what he sais he will do and anything else needed he rings you. Happy as. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
