Waterfall Lodge

Wow! What a spectacular place to stay.My partner and I booked Waterfall Lodge as we were attending a wedding nearby and the place was so gorgeous we almost didn't want to leave to attend the wedding on the night (but we did).It is just such a beautiful, tranquil place to be, sleeping with the sound of the waterfall nearby was amazing. Super comfy bed and the bathtub, OMG.We stayed three nights and really didn't want to leave to go back to the hustle and bustle of city life.The owners were great to deal with. They accommodated our every need (the only thing we needed was a ride to the nearby wedding and back) otherwise its completely private like it's your own piece of paradise. A super friendly husband and wife team.Everything in the lodge is all you'll need.We still miss the time we spent there. It was such an amazing 3 days of pure tranquillity. We will definitely be booking again just when we feel like a break in paradise.We can't recommend this place highly enough. We wish we owned it so we could stay there whenever we wanted.Absolutely spectacular.

My husband and I stayed here after attending a wedding at Summergrove. We were blown away how private and peaceful it was.One of the highlights was undoubtedly the enormous bathtub - it was the perfect place to unwind and plenty roomy enough for 2. The deck was also a highlight - it was truly magical to be able to watch the waterfall while we ate and sipped our wine.We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Waterfall Lodge for our anniversary. I honestly can’t explain how beautiful the view is. The lodge far exceeded my expectations, every little thing was thought of. The bath … wow … is the only word i can think of. Maybe swimming pool is a better description? It is so wonderful and spacious. This really is the definition of a couples retreat. We will be back next year! Thank you Peter and Susan for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of heaven. We will be back.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Waterfall lodge. We actually had been looking at going to one of the Spicers Resorts for a weekend away and we were so pleased that we didn’t, instead deciding on this place. It’s a hidden gem with access to your own private waterfall so you go to sleep and wake up to the sound of trickling water, very serine! The lodge itself is complete luxury, high end with all of the modern trims. The owners, Peter a Susan have done an exceptional job and nothing has been overlooked! We especially loved the huge stone bathtub and the little outdoor fire pit down by the waterfall, it was nice sitting there after dinner enjoying a glass of wine. The breakfast included is very good too, fruit toast, musli, croissants and fruit. Good coffee and a selection of tea is also available. The lodge itself is just a few minutes drive from Potager Restaurant so we went there for dinner but the cooking facilities here are good and next time we plan to stay longer and enjoy a BBQ on the deck overlooking the pristine creek and waterfall. Thanks Peter and Susan for allowing us to use your wonderful lodge and for your incredible hospitality. Could not recommend more highly!
