O'Brien® AutoGlass Gladstone

Sorry, have to change this review. I had a passenger window smashed on my vehicle. Was told that the window would take 2 weeks as it was a special order. Was asked if I could leave deposit, told them I will try to source one quicker and if I couldn't would call back. On calling back I was now told I must pay in full. Ok, no problem. 2 weeks pass and the afternoon before the call out was booked I recieved a call to say the window had not arrived. The window arrived in to Gladstone airport 2 days later, but my booking was pushed back another 2 weeks. Today, again the day before my booking, I receive a call to tell me to bring the car to the shop. After explaining it was arranged to be done at my premises I was told they hadn't booked it as such and I now have to wait until the 27th of March to have the glass fitted. Absolutely rubbish communication both in house and to the customer and no offer of compensation for the constant flow of mistakes"

Phoning them is hard work, you don't get to speak to anyone at the local workshops. Eventually managed to speak to a person. Said they could replace the glass in 10 days. Went to Pronto, they did it the same day, fast and friendly.

Whilst the lads at Gladstone honoured their instore quote for my windscreen replacement I was horrified to find that when the next day I called the 1300 number to book my car in I was quoted double. How can this be.. book via phone just short of $ 800.00 or walk in store $380.00. Not cool windscreens O'Brien's!

Great service. Fast, friendly and affordable glass replacement and windscreen repairs. The seal popped out of my windscreen going down the highway after it had been replaced, and they had it fixed in mere minutes after my arrival to claim on the guarantee they provide on all services rendered at O'Briens. Very impressed. You're in good hands with the Gladstone crew, and especially with Peter. Keep up the good work mate.

Luke arrived promptly on time and was polite and friendly. Luke proceeded to prepare for the removal of the old windscreen and replaced it with a new windscreen. Amazing experience. My brand new car got a stone chip on windscreen, the manager repaired it within 30 minutes and he did not charge any fees, as the car was 3 hours new, just picked up from the dealler, he showed the greatest empathy and compassion about cars. What a true gentleman!
