Waterford Estate

This village is really beautiful, definately a must see and the google earth photo is not a good representation of the village

This is a beautiful place if you were looking for somewhere to retire to, 150 mtrs from the Murray River at Murray Bridge. Highly recommend this facility.

I visit people who live there and help them with personal care in their own unit. It's a modern, very nice place for older people to live in. With social occasions to meet others who live there.

Right on the river. A friend lives there and totally loves it!

Really nice retirement village. Close to everything. People are friendly. Nice large common room and open area for walking and relaxing.

Not a safe place for elderly no footpaths.have towalk on road,As, coming out side streets hard to see if any vehicles approaching. Garage entry very narrow, all this above is a accident waiting to happen

Lot better now RSL care taken over.

My mother has lived here for over 17yrs & dad also until he passed 3.5yrs ago. It's a lovely environment for our older generation who are still relatively independent. Mum now has Parkinson's unfortunately & has carers from Kalyra come in everyday to help & assist her with medication etc. When there is maintenance to be done it's all covered, including the gardening of the front of the buildings & homes around the grounds to which residents pay fees to the Estate. Residents own their own homes but the land remains a property of RSL. The homes are very modern with everything to suit what individuals require. There is even caravan/boat storage on site for those who like to travel/fish etc. There is a community centre & many people who live there get involved with the activities/fund raisers etc. Mum goes to Happy Hour" when she feels well enough & has a lovely meal & get together with all who attend weekly

Orana does pick up from people places to pickup their unwanted goods and which Waterford estate owned by the RSL as they have around one hundred units and we go to the units after the residents ring Orana hardwaste number as Murray bridge council has a billboard in Murray bridge which has our name and on the billboard all the people have to is ring our number or they can go online or ring the local council for our number and we will come out and do pick up.

Beautiful place great homes with lots of support for aged care r very one seems to be quite happy and they all wave and ready for a chat
