Goodstart Early Learning St Leonards - Christie Street

I have a 4 and 2 year old at this centre and we are so happy with this daycare. We have been at this centre for 3 years and the educators are excellent. The outdoor facilities are outstanding best I have ever seen in any daycare in Sydney in the st Leonards to city. My children love attending they are so happy there and have a fantastic bond with their educators. The preschool room teacher Kathleen is actually a qualified school teacher and has been in the centre for a long time and is outstanding. The second staff member in preschool is new and she is lovely new addition to the centre. I am so fortunate that the same educator Nidhi that took care of my little girl in baby room is now taking care of my son in toddlers . This continuation in primary care for my family has been great, all educators in both preschool and toddler room are really exceptionally outstanding at this present time.The centre has biggest baby room I have ever seen and this is really helpful and was very appealing to me in selecting that centre for my kids.The centre has lovely new director after having a temporary one after previous director was on maternity leave.The centre opens from 7:30 am which is very handy if one had an early appointment and they provide kids with breakfast before 8 am.As a parent I feel very supported cared for and respected and that my kids are loved and I feel very deep trust in the educators.The food provided is all cooked onsite and they get so much variety and healthy snacks.This centre gets a big thumbs up from me.

Rude, greedy and unsafe environment.My little one is new to the centre and just had an accident there. She was hospitalized for 3 days to treat her from the accident. She skipped attending the centre for 5 days in a row and nobody in the centre ever cared or gave us a call to check on whats happening! It seems that money is all what they care about. They also haven't mentioned that they have a medical insurance policy that covers all children accidents. The accident involved a sharp pencil, I am still not sure why my daughter was playing with a pencil without supervision.

Both my boys have attended Goodstart St Leonards and I have seen some wonderful changes over our time. The Educators have been amazing for us, they care for my boys and work hard to teach them so many different things. I would highly recommend this centre to future families, we are really happy there!

I have been sending my daughter who is 3.5 years old for the past 5 months. When we started, my daughter used to speak, communicate very less. Now she speaks more, expresses her feelings, communicates much better, capable of taking care of herself-be it having her food or using the toilet. I am truly happy with the kind of training, support and patience shown by the staff at the Good Start. Every day they talk to me on what she did, on frequent basis they ask me about anything I would like to see her achieve this month. From an administrative end, I have received immense support from them as well. Especially, the centre director keeping everyone informed of all sorts of updates and giving multiple options of achieving the no of hours etc. Finally, the kids get a chance to have amazing and variety of food everyday from the centre chef. So I believe, the centre and the staff have been providing with an absolutely amazing service which any parent would look forward to. I hope they keep up their good work in the future tool

If you are looking for great staff -caring, driven with a smile on their face at 7.30 am or 6 pm, really genuinely interested in the children and their wellbeing and development then this center is the place to be. Both our kids go to this center and what we value the most is the amazing team of carers in any of the rooms.

My son started 3 months ago and I can see the positive change in his over all development. He really enjoys going to day care. Staffs are friendly and accommodating to various requests. Thanks to Goodstart Christie street family for taking care of my son.

My son has been going here since he was 10 months old and now he's almost 3. This is truly his second home. He knows some of the staff since day 1. He loves it here! Not only are they trusted carers for my child but they've also been super helpful in development of my child. I highly recommend this centre and wouldn't think of sending my child anywhere else.

My son has been at this centre for about 2 years. He started at the toddler room and has transitioned into the the preschool room. This centre under the supervision of Erika (New centre Directress) has improved 100% She is compassionate, caring and goes above and beyond to satisfy parents regarding their children's safety, health and learning. The staff seemed to have become more responsible and result oriented as well. Totally recommended.

I'm an Early Childhood Teacher myself and have been very happy for our son to attend at GSEL St Leonards. He has loved the babies room and his teachers, who have planned thoughtful, meaningful and inquiry based experiences. He drops off easily to any of the teachers and staff, and then is hard to get out at the end of the day. A good sign! The director is wonderful, knowledgeable and supportive of families and staff. The staff appear to work cohesively to the benefit of the children. Great sense of community with the children at the centre.

Goodstart St Leonards is absolutely wonderful. We sent our two kids, 2 & 4 for the last year and had such a positive and lovely experience. Both kids thrived in their respective rooms and their teachers were some of the most compassionate and kind people I've ever met. We are American expats and loved the diversity of students, teachers and learning experiences. I can't say enough positive things about this school, the teachers and the administrators!
