I had a great time on the Nisi workshop with Brett, Lisa and their team. I have learnt some great new things and came away with some amazing photos. They are patient and knowledgeable. The workshop was well run, and everyone's needs were considered. I look forward to the next workshop with Brett & Lisa.

A wonderful intimate look at some of the most photogenic spots in the South Island of New Zealand by an experienced and knowledgeable couple - Brett and Lisa. It is a little different from many photo tours and you see a lot of places not on the tourist roads. I thoroughly recommend a photo tour with Brett Wood Photography - apart from coming home with some pretty special photos you get to eat at some of the best restaurants as well - it's all taken care of.

I had a wonderful long exposure workshop, learning about NiSi filters and how I could use them to my advantage. Brett and Lisa were wonderful hosts providing a comfortable learning environment as well as fantastic shoot locations. Would not hesitate to recommend Brett’s workshops, I will be back.

Lakes and Lupins November 2022. My husband and I recently completed our first workshop with Brett & Lisa and loved every single minute of it. Their laid back and stress free approach made us feel so comfortable from the word go. Being only amateurs this workshop has taken our photography to the next level, what we both learnt was invaluable. The passion Brett and Lisa have for photography certainly shone through in their teachings.It was great to go off the beaten track where there was plenty of photographic opportunities without crowds.If you are thinking about doing one of Brett’s workshops, just do it as you will not bit disappointed, we highly recommend it.

I shared a fantastic time on Brett Wood’s New Zealand Photography Workshop from 16-21 April 2023. Both Brett and Lisa are so friendly and easy going it makes the workshop so enjoyable, and you learn heaps and improve your photographic skills in the process. This has been my first experience doing, a workshop with a professional, such as Brett Wood. Brett made us feel comfortable from the onset and was sincere with his mission to assist others in experiencing, not just the technicalities of photography but the mind space of each of us, to improve our spiritual journeys of our lives through photography . The places that Brett took us was indeed special. Brett and Lisa's duty of care was paramount and they made sure that we all had the proper advise on advance photographic techniques. Accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable. The choices of restaurants were special and I did not have one bad meal. I fact, I raved on to friends back home, on the high quality of food choices. Two weeks on, and I am still on a high of such a delightful experience. I would highly recommend Brett and will look forward to our next adventure together.

I attended a 2-day landscape photography workshop on the use of filters run by Brett Wood of Brett Wood Photo Art with the assistance of Andrew Code from NiSi Filters Australia. The workshop was very informative consisting of classroom presentations on the appropriate use filters, recommended camera settings and minimum equipment requirements. These learnings were then able to be put into practice on well organized sunset and sunrise photo shoots during which Brett and Andrew provided expert direction and guidance on image composition and the best filters to use. Most impressive was the one-on-one focused support both Brett and Andrew gave to each participant rather than leaving them to struggle with these issues while they shot their own images. The latter happens all too often with leaders of photography workshops. I cannot recommend Brett Wood highly enough if you are considering one of his workshops or photo tours.

Great tours with amazing scenery & wonderful photography opportunities. I have been on 5 of Bretts tours now and can't fault them. The accommodation is always great and the food is top notch also.

Another great workshop from Brett Wood and well supported by Andrew Code from NiSi. Clear concise content pitched in easy to understand manner. I went on the ‘Great Ocean Road Workshop’ with Brett and Lisa. The trip was fantastic and I learnt so much. Brett and Lisa were very helpful and totally delightful hosts. Everything was well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
