Shirley's Pest Management Service

The search for our new home took a little over two years, and Shirley supported us throughout that entire journey. Shirley undertook three pest inspections on our behalf - one prior to an auction that didn't go our way, one for the house we've just purchased, and one for a purchase we pulled out of based on her advice. Shirley's was consistently responsive, professional and clear in her advice. She clearly has extensive experience in pest management, and has 'seen it all before'!You may note the review left on Shirley's Google listing from a disgruntled vendor of a property. I was the buyer on the other side of that transaction, and thank god we had Shirley with us! Shirley accurately pointed out the evidence of prior termite activity at the property, and how the measures put in place by the seller during their DIY refurbishment weren't going to adequately protect the house. She correctly referenced Australian Standards and demonstrated why the installation didn't comply. Further, she pointed out why adequate protection would be difficult to undertake in retrospect.The vendor was unable to produce certification for the pest treatment they claim was completed at the time of the refurbishment. This extended to other parts of the construction, including questionable certification of the final form of the structural engineering elements well after they were completed and closed-up. Further, I am a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland, and can comment that the granting of Building Approval means the correct documentation is in place. It does not provide any guarantee or warranty, which is why we were glad to benefit from Shirley's practical experience.We will be using Shirley for our ongoing pest management needs, and will be happily recommending her to friends, family and colleagues. Terrible service only in it for up selling..would not recommend this service at all.making comments she was not qualified or competent to say.Having treatment done by a licenced pest control tradesperson to australian standards.this was not good enough for her and could do it better for 4x times price?!!after the job was already completed and signed off by building certifier and pest control trades person. causing the house to fall through -5 stars

Shirley has been great to deal with while we have been managing our renovations. Shirley went the extra mile, making multiple site visits to suit our schedule. She takes the time to explain whats involved and responded quickly to our requests

I recently had Shirley in to do an annual inspection of both my home and rental property and I am so glad I did. Her service was very economical and reasonably priced.She did a fantastic job and found some nasty termites, that I was unaware of and treated them on the spot which no extra charge for a call out fee as she was completely prepared. I have since found out since from my local council and neighbors that there have been a lot of termites in the area...I am so grateful, Thank you Shirley.
