One of the builders in the western suburb called Jo - is the worst, he willTry and get you to sign and notComply with anything on thePlan. He isn’t helpful at all and doesn’t want to Fix things. Very unprofessional I Don’t know how he can stillKeep His job as the plan clearly says something and he does another thing and doesn’t even do anything about it thinking he can brush it away. Don’t recommend Jo but Sterling salesTeam Is good. T

After 3 attempts of fixing the issue of the water flowing away from the drain this is the final result. Worse than when they started!As well as the draining issue, been in the house 7 months. After our routine yearly termite inspection they picked up damp in the bathroom door frames. After reporting this to Sterling I then get a call at 6:00pm Sunday evening from a tradesman saying he is booking in to come and silicon the shower without anyone even looking at where the damp is coming from.This is just one of the examples of poor quality and customer service from Sterling.My advise use a different builder!

In 2022 Sterling Homes was building next door to my house. (Which was also a new build)Part of my fence was removed due to construction which was fine.What wasn’t professional from the company was that they didn’t communicate with me when they needed access through my property.I was not informed when the foundation was being poured. The contractors had tools on my property along with other building material.When the foundation was being poured concrete splatter went on my walls and security shutters. When I contacted Sterling Homes all I got was we apologise for not informing you and the wall will be cleaned after the build.The build is complete and the wall has not been cleaned and now it’s harder to remove. There is more that I could say but I think you get the gist of it.Through the whole build the contractors did not ask for permission to enter my property and the rubbish they left behind along with bits of building materials. So for anyone else out there be careful when you have them building on your boundary.All I can say is I’m glad I never built with the company. As this is not how I would have liked for my neighbour to be treated

From start to finish with Sterling Homes they kept in contact and made the entire experience feel comfortable, especially in the environment the building industry is in. I would certainly build with Sterling again and recommend them to anyone thinking of building. John Lea my sales consultant was constant with his approach in ensuring that we were well serviced.

Don’t choose them as you will regret. Like all the other comments say, they are irresponsible. Once you pay, their job is done. There is no such thing called after-sale service. They have millions of excuses awaiting for you. If you have time to deal with all the troubles with them, good luck.

We built our home with Sterling. Overall the experience was okay but there was always minor issues. After moving in within 4 months there was a massive crack in our living room wall. The crack kept getting bigger and bigger. We reached out to Sterling home and sent them photos of the crack. They turned around and sent us copy of the contact stating it is owners responsibility to get minor cracks fixed. As they can be caused by natural shrinkage, settlement and movement, which I can understand if they are minor. However, the crack which we have is about 4 metre long. Past 3 years we have filled this crack 6 times and painted the wall but the crack keep coming back. It is so frustrating that such a big builder like Sterling doesn't really care. Its all about money and business. The photos doesn't do the justice of how bad it looks. We are literally stuck with this crack in our new home. Very disappointing. Please don't spend your life saving on Sterling.

The worst SA builder ever, if you plan to move on after 3 or 4 years just go and build with them. Always shortage of tradies, supplies and flow up. My advise is to spend more money on reliable builder than chosing these unprofessional people. One more thing, pretty sure they don't pay their subcontractors that's why the work always gets delayed.

never come back to this builder at all they charge me $10000 Deposit never retuned me so i never recommend ay customers at all be carful this builder Don’t go with sterling's as they will rip you off . . Don’t go with this builders . Unless you want to get ripped off .also please don't pay any deposit at all they will not retuned at all also i rang there office and ask them why not returned my deposit they get angry and hang up phone i never singe any contract at all but they keep my $10000 BE CARFULL WITH THIS COMPANY

After 9 companies I found one that I could trust & build the best home. Peter Finochio was amazing his knowledge is extensive with a can do yes attitude. Was an absolute pleasure to work with, I’m so happy , planning my next build. Sterling really are SA best home builder.
