Baby Sensory Canberra

A really fun and engaging program! My little girl, Ruby and I loved going every week, not just for the amazing activities but a chance to meet other mums and you also came away each week with ideas about things you could do at home with your little one. Mia who runs it is also incredibly lovely, warm and organised every week!

I first came across baby sensory through a friend at work. Her baby was 11 weeks ahead of our child, so we decided to wait until term 1 to take our babies together for the term. We loved seeing each other’s babies develop each week and the bond they formed.My partner and I first attended the Christmas Saturday session. We knew immediately baby sensory would be suitable for our child.From the get-go, the environment at baby sensory is so warming. They encourage all types of feeding, attending to your baby's needs, they welcome partners and other family members to attend, and an appropriate amount of stimulation and rest for your baby within a 50-minute session. They have a variety of engaging activities each week, and our favourite is the photo opportunities with themes they plan for the week.We have absolutely loved our last two terms and will return with any future babies we have.

We have loved attending Baby Sensory Canberra. They have a different theme each week with so many wonderful activities. The class leaders are amazing and so welcoming. We can’t wait to continue next term.

I heard Baby Sensory from one of the mum at parents’ group. I’m so glad I joined it. My daughter enjoyed it a lot. Every class has different theme and it’s always fun. Highly recommend it!

The Baby Sensory program is fantastic and Mia is an excellent facilitator. My son absolutely loved the program, we did two terms and it was such a worthwhile activity! I would highly recommend to all Canberra families!

Mia and her team are fantastic!Whether you are a FTM or dad just needing guidance in sensory play for your lil one, or an experienced parent who just wants some one on one time with their new addition, these classes are great!You get out of the house and into a totally safe space, where your baby’s needs come first, so when their schedule is unpredictable, you can still rock up to a class and feed your baby if they get hungry during the session or even let them have a lil snooze (which mine often does haha) but you still take away so much from the class.As an introvert, i have found these classes to not be draining - i actually leave with more energy and I’m more confident that I can keep the lil one entertained and developing at home! Plus its an awesome opportunity to meet other parents and know you’re not alone in whatever stage of parenting you’re going through!So 10/10 recommend, it will be one of the best things you do for YOU and your little one :)

Thank you Mia for such a beautiful experience for my little girl. I was worried that being so little she wouldn’t get anything out of these classes, however every week the careful curation of activities keeps her engaged and amazed. The themes each week are so thoughtful and you can tell how much effort goes into each and every class to make it such a wonderful experience for families.

Such a beautiful experience to share with my baby. We love coming each week and both enjoy the time we spend at Baby Sensory! I've learnt so many new ways to help my baby learn at home and we can't wait to start a new term.

Mia has done such a wonderful job with Baby Sensory Canberra. Every time we attend we are greeted with a warm smile, a new theme for class and many interactive things for baby (bubbles, balloons, lights, smells, movements and sounds ect.) There have been so many different sensory experiences I would never have thought to/been able to expose my little one to myself, plus the class has been great fun for myself and my little one - each week we look forward to seeing our new friends!

We love our weekly sessions at Baby Sensory Canberra, we have signed up for a second term. Each class is thoughtfully planned with excellent props and activities for babies of all age groups. Mia the facilitator is energetic, warm, and brings an endless level of enthusiasm to each class. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enrich their baby’s development.
