West End Mazda Service Parramatta
Service department never answers the phone. Staff are rude.I ended up walking to the service department to ask for a quote they told me they need the VIN number of my car for an accurate quote which I didn't have on me at the time. I asked how should I get it to you? He told me to phone him, I then reminded him I've been trying for 2 weeks to call the service department but they never answer the phone, he then told me sorry so that's the best I can do! Since then I have mentioned this to a few other people and they said they had the same experience. Even the spare parts guy at Mazda said he can't call either. Place is a joke.

I had booked my car in for Apple Car Play installation yesterday and I also got my wiper blades changed while I was at it. When I first called, Andre had a chat with me and I booked in the slot with him. On reaching there yesterday morning, I was welcomed by a staff member who was standing next to the driveway and showed me the way to the customer parking. As soon as I parked, Andre came up to me and we discussed what was to be done on the car. I left my car around 7:30am and was told it would be done by 12pm. To my surprise, the car was ready at 10:30am and I got a call saying my car is all set to go. I went and picked up the car and all the work on the car was done pretty neatly. Excellent customer service by Andre. Would definitely be looking forward to getting all my future servicing done at Mazda Parramatta through Andre. The location is pretty handy as well, there is a bus stop right outside the service centre which takes you straight to Parramatta Train Station. This review is for the service centre and especially Andre, keep up the good work. Can leave my car keys in his trusted hands and be worry free.

I bought a brand new vehicle from sales. On delivery of the vehicle we noticed damage on one of the windows. We spoke to the salesman and were assured it would get sorted at the 1000km inspection.A few days before the service I called to confirm this was all organized and checked how long they needed the vehicle. The lady I spoke to was rude and unhelpful.So we turned up for the 1000km inspection and the window to be fixed and nothing was organised we were told someone would call to sort this out over the next two weeks.Four weeks later no phone calls and when we called to follow it up we were just given excuses, zero help and false promises of call backs.So we had to make a complaint to a manager who to be fair sorted it all out we asked for help getting home as we have a newborn baby and I work full time so dropping the vehicle off requires a baby sitter and the cost of taxis back. unfortunately they couldn't help even though they sold us a damaged vehicle.So after more than two months the vehicles finally fixed I went to check the vehicle last night when I got home they couldn't even be bothered to wash it and it gets better they left all the rubbish and the old part in the boot for me to dispose offI hope I don't have to deal with this service center again as they simply do not care about customers.

The servicing of my car was good, the price was great and the staff at reception were friendly.I wasn't happy that my vehicle was ready 1.5 hours after I was told it would be ready. I was also unhappy that the service centre didn't have a waiting area for customers. My son and I were told to wait inside the car sales building where we were subjected to salesmen swearing and acting immaturely around the break area where we were seated. This lead us to wait outside.It would have been very valuable to me if I was offered a courtesy car to use rather than taking 2 buses home and 2 buses back with my autistic son in tow. When I came back at 3pm (The time I was told my car would be ready) I was told by reception that I'm meant to wait for a phone call.

Took my CX7 in to get a diagnosis on a noise coming from the turbo (common in this model). Message left on my voicemail that it was ready to be picked up. No care taken or warning given that I was about to receive advice that the turbo needed to be replaced and rear lights needed replacing which would come to $8500!Receptionist left to explain exactly what the problem was (which she couldn’t). In this situation and for that sort of quote I’d expect a mechanic to come and explain exactly what the problem was, what causes it and why it needs a full replacement. Instead, all I got from the receptionist was “better start saving”!A quick google search comes up with a replacement turbo for under $1000. Sure, it’s not a Mazda genuine part and labour must be added, but it’s still a long way off $8k. I’ll be going elsewhere thanks.

A few issues since I bought my 2021 CX5 and West End Mazda fixed them straightaway:1. Low engine oil light comes up 8 months after first service, took my car in without booking, they topped up the engine oil straightaway;2. Driver seat movement. Common issue on some CX5s, my one is not that noticeably, they tested drive first but cannot replicate the issue, then we checked a few loan cars and confirmed that there is an issue with the motor, then they lodged a warranty claim with Mazda and helped me fixed the issue;3. Battery issue. Somehow the battery failed after nearly 2 years, cannot start the car sometimes, called roadside once and they dont have the battery. Then I called the service department to make a booking and told me no booking available until the end of January, I was going to wait for it but things come up I have to use my car, so I managed to start my car today and took it in, they again help me out straightaway with a brand new battery in a few hours's wait.Overall, I am happy with their customer service and will use them in the future.
