Sat down to have breakfast. Over heard the two teenage girls (who seem to be running the place) are you going to see if they want coffees" to which she replied "no" shaking her head. We sat there for 10minutes without service before we left. Ridiculous and disrespectful"

Had my first coffee there today and was greeted by a bubbly staff member service was good loved the coffee it was made exactly as per my order and there was a cookie with it which l declined and they weren't selective as to who got a cookies I'd recommend this place to anyone

Michels patisserie has great cakes and coffee . I use to patronize this cafe many years ago as a kid. But recently i got back to it and now hooked. Live their tiramisu cake my favourite small for 3 to share $16.90 or the bigger one only $26.90.

I asked for a piece of carrot cake 'the cake of the day' for $6.50The girl cut me a slice when I opened the bag well, the picture says it all.What a joke

Honestly extremely disappointed! I purchased a mud cake for my nephews 2nd birthday and once we got home and cut the cake it was stale. It was just a dry sponge smothered in icing. Woolworths would of been a better option. Its actually a shame as they used to have really nice cakes in the past. Coffee is pretty average too! Not sure what has happened but was definitely a waste of $45

I'm In between 3 and 4 technically. Staff are nice and my experience their she was a lovely woman. Food wasn't hot enoughf I got a sausage roll and pie it was a little cold for me and atmosphere was a bit dull. Music their was laying low none but that doesn't define weather it's good or not some places it changes the dynamics for this cafe it would. A lucky 4

My experience today at Michel’s Penrith will be my last.Ordered a birthday cake 3 business days in advance and on the day of the event when I went to pick it up I was casually told by assistants “Oh it’s not here”. Further elaborated the delivery hadn’t arrived a day prior. No apology, no acknowledgement, no solution.I asked if anyone tried to call me when they knew the delivery hadn’t arrived and apparently there were multiple calls made but couldn’t produce call logs as evidence when asked.The assistant advised that they had “none” of that cake in stock then walked to the front window and to their surprise found a larger size to what I had ordered. Out of good will I asked if I could take the larger cake for the price that I had originally ordered because:1. No one notified me that my cake wasn’t available2. It’s not my problem the delivery didn’t arrive3. For the lack of customer experience, a $10 discount seemed worthyI was then put on the phone to the owner who didn’t offer an apology, instead tried to upsell me the larger cake then explained she wouldn’t make money.Very disappointed in the staff and owner on how this situation was handled. Wont be back.Update: As per owners response below, I asked on the intial phone call whether payment was required over the phone and was told that payment upon pick up was fine. In the entire interaction today, no one mentioned that my order wasn’t confirmed because of non-deposit. On a $36.90 cake, what would the deposit be anyway? The owners response below is entirely false. There was no aggression, just a frustrated customer demanding answers to a poor experience.

Fast and efficient service. The workers are friendly and welcoming. Food and coffee is always well prepared and dining area is always clean and well kept. Highly recommened if your near and need a quick coffee fix or for a nice break from the hussle and bussle of life.

The girl dealing this morning was so rude.
