Dural Mechanical Services

NOT GOOD. Changed ownership, New Owners are charging premium prices. Charged me for a quote to fix, was more expensive then a normal service. I Got the issue Fixed elsewhere for half the price.

They broke my fuel line and cost me half a tank of diesel!!Went for a general service of my Toyota Hilux at just over 20,000 kms on a newly installed and professionally built engine. Needing nothing less than a change of filters and oil as well as a quick once over to make sure nothing was wrong. Filters ✅ Oil✅ that once over to make sure everything was fine…I think not. Upon collecting my car and paying nearly $200 more than my last service with my usual mechanic (who was still on chrissy leave) I was greeted by the smell of diesel. To my complete shock, opening the bonnet was of the worst sights possible for a vehicle owner- fuel EVERYWHERE. Further inspection revealed a drenched engine bay, transmission, left chassis rail and the entire driveline from drive shafts through to all 4 brakes- EVERYTHING was covered in diesel. A trusty mobile mechanic I’ve worked with before diagnosed the issue to be a broken fuel line which we suspect to have been knocked when working on the oil filter. The mechanics at Dural Mechanics swore it was merely a coincidence and assured they were no way at fault. Mr mobile mechanic and myself disagreed, but we were no way inclined to an argument. I would be very weary of trusting these fellas with any mechanical job no matter how small…unless you have a few extra $$$ to spare above what you expect to pay and a couple extra days to drive your vehicle with extreme caution. Hopefully I was just the odd experience, but maybe not.Make sure to use a trusted mechanic when servicing your road going vehicle!!

Very reliable and friendly team of Mechanics.These guys know their job and do it with passion. My 2004 Camry was due for Pink slip and service. The team picked up my car from home and gave me a proper estimate on call. Very reasonable price for service.I’d highly recommend the business to anyone who wants give their loved vehicle extra love and care.
