Carindale Veterinary Surgery

We have boarded our Burmese cat (Floyd) at this surgery so many times and honestly he knows when he is going to be boarded there as he sits in his travel cage at home. The staff are just exceptional and they are so loving and caring for our pet.It takes away all the stress knowing that he will be cared for.We would recommend this surgery for anything that your pet needs.

I have taken both my cats to this vet and they received nothing but the best of care.I find the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.The clinic itself is always super clean and I love the designated 'cat parking area' as this helps keep my fur babies nice and calm while they wait for their appointments.I personally loved the little my day at the vet book I have received for each of my babies that has loads of helpful information and a hard copy of their after surgery care plan just incase you forget something and a picture of them while they were at the vet.Many thanks and head boofs for taking such good care of my babies (Roger and Sheldon)

The girls at the vets were lovely and very supportive to us the owners and treated our cat really well, will return to this vet

They’ve taken care of my fur babies for years now and always have friendly service. They genuinely care about your pets and will go out of their way to make sure they’re well looked after. I love that photos get given of their time at the vet if they have to stay for surgery or tests. Thank you!

We have been taking our dogs there for almost 10 yrs. Dr Jo is a great vet, always very clear and explains things. We have experienced first hand that they recommend what they believe will give the best outcome for your animal, they don't suggest procedures just for the sake of it. We have always been able to get appointments when we've needed them, even if they've had to squeeze us in. The nursing staff are all fantastic and very knowledgable.

Can only review their claw clipping but when they can clip a CAT's claws in under 5 minutes, I'm impressed!!

I've moved my dogs off this vet after a terrible experience. I took my little Maltese for an emergency consult as she was in considerable pain. We didn't have a prior appointment. She wasn't even given 5 minutes. Was told that they didn't have any spare appointments and that if it was an emergency, I had to drive my dog to an emergency vet. How heartless. She was crying in the reception. She's been going to this vet for the last 10 years since she was 9 weeks old. No more. We went to another vet who had never seen her before. He took one look at her, promptly examined her, and scheduled emergency surgery. She's OK now. Thank God.

We moved over to another vet a year ago after the worst treatment at this vet . We are so happy now as vet was traumatic. I requested all the reports of visits .In case I needed. These people are disgusting they mock you & write it down as well. One even had wanted to buy the food as it was on sale of 50% . One spoke of our daughter for no reason whatsoever. It was really weird .!One comment was - when asked what the puppy was eating -it states I said I don’t know I just know it’s very expensive ! . I could not recall the name at the time . I made a joke & said I do know it’s expensive though. Why write that about a customer., I believe most notes they write is on their customers not the pets - it’s disgusting. Snide comments - like she asked how much it would be . Etc Every visit & they comment in a sarcastic way. Not much on the pets which I would believe would be more important .They were rude and dramatic . Very disappointed with the attitude of this company. I had used this vets for the last 7 years for both our dogs and cats although their prices are on the very higher side & they always try to add on extras, I had been reasonably happy with the service..then one of our pets needed a specialist. I was questioning as Anyone would. As she is telling me it’s like $300 plus . I also had to pay $$ for 5 mins and was told had to see specialist. Which I was fine. .. was waiting for referral to be sent . They wanted us to come in again & pay another $130 for a few minutes . No given reason just to check ... I said why when we are going to specialist.. specialist was over $300 plus They kept wanting to come in & charge over 100 for 5 mins .why I would need to come in again .. I asked .. they don’t like that. !- after just been for a referral . So they could take another $115 for 5 minutes which clearly did not have to . If I asked anything I was snapped at. Worst of all the comments . They when they sent email to specialist they had more comments about customer . Specialist showed me .I said I did not understand why they wanted me to keep coming in . Specialist agreed. . Who does that . These people should be ashamed of themselves. They need to focus on the pets not the owners. Even emailed complaint & no reply .

Can't rate this place higher. Looked after all our dogs for years. They fit us in the other day asap, and got us blood tests and everything done for us right then are there. Definitely bring your pets here
