Hong Kong Chef Tuggerah
Worst experience in a restaurant in a long time. Despite booking two days ahead of time we were sat between the front window and a bar so my husband and I couldn’t even look at each other, weren’t offered water or tea and no explanation of the ordering process. Had to get some kids attention to order and he could not have wanted to serve us less. Took the order and then walked off. 5 minutes later the manager threw the docket of our order on our table and asked us to check it but immediately walked off and food then started arriving so glad it wasn’t wrong.The dumplings were over cooked and the wrappers falling apart, fillings flavourless.Table sticky.Ate and left within 30 minutes, spent $65, will not be back. Have had better food and service at a food court.Shouldn’t matter if it’s a table of two or a table of 10, everyone who is spending time and money at a place deserves to feel as if they are welcomed.

Amazing food and even amazing service, lovely night even though it was busy, great service and the food came out on time and piping hot and tasty. Kudos to an awesome team especially our service attendants Bianca and Maria. Will definitely be back.

Had a small bday there today and the food was amazing good quantities and the service and staff was even better! Made it a really joyful day and experience. Do recommend to anyone thinking of trying

The food was delicious, except for the unwanted hair that was kindly wrapped up inside our dumplings. Sure mistakes can happen but the kitchen has a glass window and the person making the dumplings had lovely long hair which wasn't under a cap or hair net.The server seemed to think it was hilarious that there was hair in the food. They continuously made jokes about it until we finished out meal.

Had a great night out with friends. Ordered 7-8 dishes I have never had before: honey chicken, Chinese pancakes and more! Quickest service ever too! Had my food before my drinks! Highly recommended!

The food was amazing and came to the table fast. All staff were lovely and the waiter who took our order was new, but let us know before we begin ordering and did a great job. They even had a Polaroid camera were they were taking photos of the families for them to keep.

Hong Kong Chef Tuggerah
My extended family and I have been coming here for a couple of years for family lunches, birthdays and Christmas celebrations. We always find the food delicious and the standards consistent. The team are lovely and always accommodating making all our get together a special. Prices are fair. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. If I lived nearby I would be a regular.
