Deep in the wilds of South Bruny lies this unique, quirky little venue that genuinely operates as an apple shed in a beautiful orchard that supplies apples for Bruny Island’s famous cider.The facilities are rustic but charming- everything you would expect from a functioning apple shed, including vintage farm equipment, rudimentary lighting, the tables and seating are a hotchpotch mixture of ‘agricultural shabby chic’, and the aroma of apples fills the air.I attended a wonderful concert by guitarist Marcus Sturrock here, and for such a small local community and dismal weather for tourists, the shed was filled with people and the atmosphere was intimate but alive.This unique and quirky place was a great setting for such an awesome night.
