We had a couple of problems. An automatic front door closer which would not cloe and a lock which would not turn. A technision was sent quickly and fixed both problems in minimal time and cost. Very helpful with a difficult key at the end of the daySuccessful key cutting from an earnest young man

Unbelievably professional & efficient staff, I received warm service in store getting keys cut as well as organising a date that suited my schedule to secure my house. Ask for Alex! He has an amazing attitude.

I arrived outside David Carr Locksmiths & Security one evening at 5.05 pm. Two young gentlemen had just finished locking up. I had with me a small metal suitcase inherited from my aunt. Beautiful thing. Infested with rust. On seeing me, the young gentlemen displayed not a skerrick of dismay, given the time. They reopened the shop. They examined the metal suitcase and admired it. It is at least 100 years old. The lock works like silk but the key is slightly bent. Which is why I took it to a locksmith. They added lubricant which made the lock mechanism even more silky. You can't buy a metal suitcase now" they said. "Everything's plastic." Made me so glad I hadn't chucked the case away to landfill. So now I'll have the rust removed professionally. Then my husband can store his sweets in it under lock and key

Maybe the locksmiths are ok but the incompetence of the service staff in shop is just ridiculous. Yesterday was definitely my last visit.

I’ve had an unusually urgent situation this morning where my cats were accidentally locked in a room where the door handle broke. I spoke with Jack, who was absolutely wonderful. So polite, and he went above and beyond to help. Would highly reccomend this company and would like to congratulate management on Jack, what an outstanding employee and a credit to your business.
