Friendly & very accommodating, fit my car in a short amount of time. Fixed a broken side mirror for me for half the price I was quoted at Hyundai which was fantastic. Terrible experienceDropped my ute off the afternoon prior. Told would be ready the next afternoon.Midday I get a call telling me it'll be an extra $20 because of the cost of oil which I thought was abit rude.I then go to the place after work to be told it's not ready yet but will be this evening.So i walk home and come back around 6 or 7. The place is shut and I can't get hold of the owner via phone call. He then messages me to tell me there's been a family emergency. Fair but why TF can no one stay and finish my ute? So I ended up getting it back 2 days after dropping it off and they had the hide to charge me the extra for oil. And they broke my glovebox while they were at it.

I recently took my BMW to a mechanic shop for a roadworthy inspection and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. After experiencing a check engine light turn on following a hard acceleration, I was worried about the state of my vehicle. However, the knowledgeable and experienced team at the shop quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue, leaving my car running like new. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service really stood out to me, and I felt confident in their ability to handle any issues that may arise. Overall, I highly recommend this mechanic shop for anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy car repairs. Five stars all around!

Stay away from them, very dodgy people.Being Polite but dodgy business style.I had my car air con fixed by them, went twice, problem never got fixed, and paid each time for the return, because they blamed other parts having new problem after only 3 days from their fix but never their own faults and incompetent to be able to identify this ‘new problem’ in the first place. It is always the ‘new discovered problem’, and they made you pay for it. I spent $2400 all up, nothing was fixed, the air con is still leaking. They are still proud of their work, not owning up any mistakes and misjudgment, or vandalism.I found another racv accredited mechanic to look into the problem, they had the report telling the a/c pipes replaced by them were insured and bad rating, evaporator replaced nothing to do with the leaks, and most importantly, the coloured air indicated the leaks are from compressor, and Cassar could not find this after my cars being back twice and stayed for 10 days in total!Buy Ray Cassar denied all and said this is the new problem, and I would need to pay for the 3rd visit big money before they could find another ‘new problem’. They refused to rectify their work.I ended up paying them $2400 twice in total but the air con leaks still there, nothing was fix at all.I am going to the VCAT for my compensation.

Ray is hands down the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever seen. Been bringing my cars since for years. Will not over charge and cares about the quality of the work done.

Ray was recommended to service my BT-50. Called him up and he slotted me in before time to fit my schedule. Picked up an issue with my air conditioner that I had to leave for the time being. The rest of the service was done well and Ray was in contact with me to check if I wanted particular things done or not.Went back today to have my a/c re-gassed and after about half an hour, he picked up the issue and had it solved. Again, he kept me up to date with what he was doing and making sure I understood.Will be going back there for all my auto needs as he has really looked after me and my car. Would recommend Cassar Auto to anyone.
