If your child is looking for an English tuitor, I will not recommend anyone other than Olivia from Australian Literacy Academy. She is professional, patient and shows expertise in what she is doing. My daughter’s writing skills improved so much, thanks Olivia.

Olivia is a wonderful tutor who has been tutoring me for almost 10 years. She has always taken time to clearly explain grammar techniques, help analyse literature and text along side me as well as review essays and creative pieces. It's the small things that Olivia helps correct that prove tremendous in results. Though Olivia's guidance, I was able to get a Band 6 for English Advance in the HSC, something that I thought wasn't possible. No matter how busy the week is Olivia is always there to help if you're willing to put the effort in.

ALA is a wonderful centre. The tutors are highly qualified, dedicated and best of all they make learning fun! So much better than any services I've found before. My child looks forward to his weekly lessons for both literacy skills and reading. His tutor is also a qualified teacher so this is very different to a lot of other tutoring centres. After a year of tutoring, my child's progress and improvement in his learning and abilities is nothing short of amazing. He was severely behind and struggling in his literacy skills and reading in Kindergarten. Now in Year 1, my child's progress and improvement is 360 degrees better after receiving ALA tutoring and support. I highly recommend ALA particularly for children who are behind and struggling in their learning, literacy, reading and academically at school. I also thought initially that ALA tutoring costs were expensive as compared with other tutoring centres. However, ALA tutoring lessons are worth every cent and more since the tutoring lessons are actually effective and work! We tried other tutoring lessons and centres prior to joining ALA and received no results or progress in my child's learning or academic struggles. So much better to pay for tutoring lessons for my child that actually work!!
