For 3 consecutive years they filed wrong tax return.Anil mehra (accountant) did not knew about the non-commercial loss component and kept on claiming the loss without ever telling me about it that it can't be claimed in my case.How would anyone know about this rule if the accountant himself is illiterate enough to not know about it and not tell the clients about it. He should know how to do his job and not make his clients responsible for his mistakes. Anybody hires a professional for their competence but this guy is absolute useless to be called professional.Ato started chasing and I had to pay back 6k to ato suddenly causing huge sudden financial burden on me and my family.When I asked him to rectify his mistake he was not available on phone. Uncountable unanswered calls.When he picked he told he is having back pain and not attending office, just a couple of days after this he told me he is on holiday in NZ. When ato followed up with him about this he told them he was on a trip to India.When I asked him to reply to ato's queries, he started asking for more money, that too to rectify his own mess.Dozen of his other clients were in same mess with ato due to his non-competence. Ato was chasing all of them for the same thing due to his mistake.Now, Ato has marked clear note against my tfn saying the tax return was not filed properly. I may be under a scanner in future due to this guy's illiteracy, carelessness, negligence and absolute non-competence.Leaving up to the reader to proceed with him or not.
