Church Cafe
The Church Cafe was a wonderful experience. Great ambience with beautiful views. The service was great.We had the gnocchi and Italian garlic bread. They were both full of flavour and delicious. The Macadamia parfait was dreamy and to die for! Will definitely return.

Stopped in here for a morning coffee. It was excellent and really nice and frothy. The cannolli and flourless choc hazelnut cake we had was devine. The guy who served us was really friendly. Will definitely be back to try their pasta and other desserts.

The food here is absolutely delicious, but a little pricey for the portion size (but that is just my opinion). Even thinking about the Italian food they serve while writing this review makes me want to go get some now! You would be a fool not to stop in and try it!

Much more than a café!The Church Café in Pinnacle is a slice of Italy in the heart of the cane fields. We were expecting coffee and cake and instead found a completely authentic Italian menu set in the quaint old church building. Great entrees, truly sublime home made pastas and desserts complemented by Italian wines and beers. Friendly and helpful service made for fantastic experience.If you're in the Mackay area or visiting Eungella National Park, this café/restaurant is a must.

We read about the church cafe in the Mackay newspaper....definitely worth the visit for all coffe lovers! Generous, helpful and informative owners who obviously have a love for Italian food and coffee .... definitely put this on your visit list. Outside and inside dining in a beautiful church history is lovely.

A must visit hidden gem. Strongly recommend the cabbage and (house made) sausage flan entree. Chat wines with the waiter. Enjoy first class service and food

20/1/2019. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. I tried the gnocchi allo speck and it was literally divine. Also loved the Duck ragu tagliatelle. Tried the Italian softdrinks, Aranciata Rossa is like fanta without as much sugar, whilst the Chinotto is like Coke but flavored with orange /lemon peel, bitter but the drinker loved it. Beautiful breeze and glorious weather, not rushed so a leisurely lunch enjoyed by all.
