Brighton Jeep - Service & Parts Centre

Great service, Stuart was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Superb hire car was available for the day and my car was returned spotless, cleaned inside and out, and no issues.

Worst experience I have ever had at Brighton jeep service centre. I just wanted to know when my car part will arrive and called them multiple times. Sometimes the receptionist just hang up the phone. The parts order department never picks up the phone directed to them by reception. They hardly call back and if they do they do not have any update.I escalated to jeep senior management at FCA. They said they have posted the part but even after three days there is no update where the part is. I am without car since 7 weeks now. Will never go to them again once I receive my car. I have my trip planned for coming long weekend to south Australia but I think I have to cancel my trip seeing jeep communication and not so customer friendly behaviour.I am loyal customer since 9 long years but I think I should move on from Brighton jeep service centre.

I’m your average non-technical owner (using a nom de plume) so I depend on the service team to do the right thing. I have no way of checking other than something subsequently failing.The Jeep has taken me around Australia twice without missing a beat. It has been serviced by the local Jeep dealer in Perth and again in Cairns. I was back home in Melbourne, so I booked it into Brighton for its annual service. My experience was positive. The waiting room is comfortable, free coffee, waiting time pretty much as forecast, price as foretold. So, 5 stars at that point.When driving out I noticed a whining noise and returned to be told that it was due to the air conditioner fluid being low – not a problem as we were already late into Autumn. Not happy that it wasn’t identified during the service but I let it go.A month later (and I’ve moved to rural Victoria) and I get a warning on the dash that the electrical system needed to shut down extraneous systems. Research suggested the problem was with the battery, so I took the car out on the highway for a 50k run. The next day – same message, so I took It to the local Battery World. The technician showed me that the battery was on 11.9 volts (AKA dead).I have no problem with the battery being dead – it was 5 years old. But Brighton has access to my full service records (and hence the battery’s age) and can’t have spent the minute or two to check it during a multi-hour (expensive) service. There is no way that it could have been reading a healthy 12.6+ volts then a month later (after a long high-speed run) be running at 11.9 volts.I can no longer be sure that the car has been properly serviced, so down to 3 stars because of the loss of trust.

Really disappointing experience here. Was given a 4 week timeline on a repair. Received my car after 9 weeks. Staff were unhelpful, poor communication and service. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Well, a little bit late review. I did have a good experience to fix my car here with Tom. Good communication, good explanation to me who does not know car mechanic. Handover the car to me earlier than the scheduled date and functional well. Professional service to recommend.

*WILL NEVER SERVICE CAR AT JEEP AGAIN*My car key was damaged during a routine service with Jeep and Jeep were extremely difficult to deal with.The communication was poor and they provided conflicting information on several occasions.It has been extremely frustrating and stressful to prove that they damaged the key. Multiple calls, emails, photos taken and getting my own locksmith down to Jeep to fix it. All for a $300 issue that Jeep could have easily rectified.I’m in disbelief that they would treat a customer with so much disrespect and not just fix the problem that they caused in the first place.

It was absolutely terrible experience!!!Basically not helpful at all. They stuffed up, took a lot of money. Made us go back and forward so many times, ignore our messages, never called back. After I called the other Jeep company I realised it was far the most expensive one and least helpful.Never again!!!

Brighton jeep service claims to go above and beyond. We never received that today payed $399For what bad customer experience and a dirty car.Over the phone we spoke about the service cost only and service car is available can i have one yes.Turn up on the day and i was greeted by the lady service manager.Hello sir your service cost $399 and $40 for a service car. And i said sorry no the service car is no charge ( FIRST PROBLEM ). So the manager questioned the new guy and then apologised ok no charged. And then told me the $40 is to waiver the $5000 excess which i found extremely high( SECOND PROBLEM ). But i still refused to pay, after that they log me on to the service car i get a email confirming i am logged on and i read the terms the excess is $2500.( THIRD PROBLEM ) picking up the car they still tried they luck to charge me for the service car i had to question it again.( FOURTH PROBLEM ) never vacuumed the car and washing was soo poor.( FIFTH PROBLEM ) my windscreen washer was empty i never filled it knowing i was getting the service done get it back with water only filled in it, with no soap or windscreen fluid added.I was charged for it but 100% nothing was added.

Nothing wrong really with the work on the car, reception is the problem - they are swamped, and not helped using old systems.Waiting 30 mins to check in @ 745am and 45 mins to pick up at 430pm sorta kills yr day.Other garages have welcoming marshall's, drive through fast drop-off and use iPads to tap in and go ....

I had a service booked in 1.5 months ago and was suppose to receive a loan car.Unfortunately that day their loan cars hadn't been returned, I was reassured that they would be able to squeeze me in and have a loan car the following day.When I returned to drop my car off the following day they again did not have a loan car available therefore missing two mornings of work.The staff were polite and apologised, things like this happen. I understand. Huge inconvenience but it is what it is. We ended up booking a service with a loan car for the last week of April where I was told I'd get an sms reminder about the service.Fast forward to now, I just received an email reminding me the my car is overdue and I need to call to make a booking.I've called - No booking was ever made for me and now the booking Ive just made is 3 weeks away because its the soonest" they can get me in.I've never had a problem previously in fact the service has been great in the past - but my most recent experience has been nothing but a waste of time
