Myra Carter, Melbourne Abstract Artist - Vibrant & Textural Works | Hi I am Myra Carter, an abstract artist who enjoys creating vibrant and textural works of art. I originally came from Scotland as a child and now live in Warrandyte, Australia surrounded by birds and wildlife. The beauty of nature is my inspiration. Through my art I aim to spread a feeling of joy and I delight in celebrating the beauty of colour. I like to work by letting the artwork talk to me as I develop the interplay of different textures and colours on the canvas. I am excited by the dynamic process involved in abstract painting and I seek to express emotion through my work. My artworks have been featured in a variety of art shows, galleries and corporate spaces including the Victorian Office of the Solicitor General.
