MARK GRAY Brisbane Photography Courses

I would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in taking their photography to the next level. Using the car analogy: I feel I have moved beyond just a driver to starting to understand how the engine works and how this translates to performance in the environment.The technical sessions were the gem of the tour. The time invested in these sessions was so valuable. Jason was a very knowledgeable instructor, who was able to explain things so logically and simply. He took the time for questions and happily answered.

From start to finish the course was excellent. A perfect balance of theory (not too detailed so perfect for all levels) and practical with some interesting sites to visit. I highly recommend this to all photographers starting out. Even though the focus is landscape photography Mark assisted and gave advice in other areas. The course itself provides background knowledge and techniques that transfer to other realms of photography. I cannot recommend this highly enough and what a great day out.

Thank you Mark for a fantastic course in Brisbane. I learnt so much during the day and feel both more confident and more invigorated to get back out there and take more photos. A very informative, professional and enjoyable course which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to improve the skills or brand new photographers wanting to get started.

I found the whole experience with Mark Gray Photography to be exceptional, from enquiry to Photography tour and follow up.The tour I just completed was the 3 day Taste of the Tropics in Cairns and this was the second time the I have benefited from Jason’s knowledge.The locations were tremendous but to me it was Jason’s knowledge and approach to assisting me and the other attendees on the activity that really made it. Jason’s demeanour is so collegial and his willingness to pass on his knowledge and help you get the best from your photography is remarkable.It is also a truly luxury tour, from accommodation to all catering. I can’t recommend it enough.

I took Mark's Desert Dreams tour in the NT in late May 2021. From the time I booked, I received the best service: prompt and helpful replies to my queries, good tour information and equipment advice - everything I needed to prepare well for the trip.Jason was a superb guide - so very knowledgeable, gracious in his dealings with each person on the tour, and generous with his time at each location. I have been doing landscape photography for a few years now, but I learned so much more about composition and different camera settings during this tour. And to have access to the best locations at optimal times of the day, sharing our passion for photography as a group, is what makes this kind of 'holiday' unique.The optional Lightroom workshop at the end was a great end to the tour. To be able to get Professional advice on processing some of our best work and then come home to continue with that same workflow for the rest of the images was very satisfying. I would highly recommend anyone doing one of Mark's tours to take up this same opportunity - it's worthwhile for all levels of experience.

I spent a full day with Jason in Brisbane who is a friendly and very knowledgeable person.I would recommend this course for anyone who needs a solid understanding of photography covering from the basic to more technical if required.Having dealt with every member of staff, I received nothing but excellent service all round.

Fantastic tour to Tasmania. Locations for photo shoots were amazing . Mark was an awesome teacher and was able to explain everything so simply and made it so easy to understand which was great for me as I am very new to photography . His expertise and professionalism was first class. The tour itself was so well prepared. The accommodation, the meals and transport around Tasmania were exceptional. Cannot wait to be able to do another tour

Our group consisted of 8 people with varying degrees of skill. Mark made everyone relaxed and divided his time well between all members. It was a very enjoyable, educational day and I for one came away with a far better understanding of landscape photography. Without hesitation I would recommend this 1 day tute to anyone wanting to move up the skill & understanding ladder. Greg

I recently attended the Brisbane one day workshop and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Mark was very professional in his approach to teaching and the running of the workshop. Photographers of all skill levels were catered for with course notes and one on one instruction.
