Jimboomba Smash Repairs

Just found out that Jimboomba Smash repairs closing down, was booked in for June repair, already waited 2 months only to be told will need to go elsewhere, not surprising they are closing down - zero care factor, only a small job, could've been completed, pathetic time wasters !

Really great service, they do go out of the way to make sure they do extra.Went to get my mirror fixed and they cleaned and detailed my car! with all the stress of having to get this fixed and going through insurance it was a nice touch.

Found them to be very helpful, service was good and they were happy to accommodate a few extra things that i needed after the initial job was completed. They did great work and overall i'm very happy with everything.

The store person was very friendly and clearly explained the work done to the car. More than happy to answer our questions and took his time to explain in details. Attention to detail.

Had an aftermarket steel Xr8 bonnet sprayed and fitted to my 2012 FG Xr6 Turbo, Jimboomba Smash did a fantastic job, can't tell that it's not an original fitment , was done for a reasonable price and finished on the day as promised. Could not be any happier with the result, highly recommend and definitely going back for any other work should the need arise.

Do not recommend. Disgusting customer service from 3 employers. Lady was trying to blame lack of trades and suppliers when that wasn’t my complaint what so ever. Time management sucks, phone skills suck, communication between staff none existent, conflict resolution 0 out of 10. Assessment done 3-4 months ago took car in for repairs to be told no your claim was cancelled and we can only do another assessment. Was thrown a business card to call and figure it out myself. We purchased a second hand car from a dealership, only to learn a few years late it was an ex-promo car and there was a massive imprint of a Bundy sticker on the bonnet. Dave and his team did an absolutely brilliant job of sorting that and some.other scratches out making it look brand new.Cannot recommend this team highly enough!

Our car was sent here through insurance for repair. They honestly have the worst communication and customer service. Our car was there for 2 weeks, no one bothered to update us on anything. It was meant to be sent to another company to have a part fitted and they never organized it so we had to take the car back again another time. I would never recommend or use them again.

Absolutely shameful service. Contacted for a paint job quote. Told to be there before 4.30pm on Friday 23/10/2021. I worked on over the last two days in order to finish early on the Friday to arrive defore 4.30pm. They knew that I work as a nurse in a busy Gold Coast hospital and how far I had to travel from to get to them. I arrived by 3.45pm only to find them closed. Really bad show. You just don't do that to people. I will never use these people again.

Hands down to date the worst customer service I have ever received. After been told a week before my repair date that my repair had not been approved....it had, my insurance company and I had to submit everything again. A day before my repair date all the paperwork had been submitted and I was told no,won't be able to bring it in tomorrow,they will have to give me a new date.Ok fair enough, things happen, bare in mind through all of this I have had to call and check and arrange everything. I asked the lovely Mary Ann to please call me with a new date as soon as since we have been waiting just shy of 5 months for this repair. Three weeks later I call to enquire whats going on" ? The open hostiliy and abuse I received when I had the audacity to question the new date being another 4 months in the future. When I asked why didn't anyone call me with this new date I was hung up on. Mind blown. I called my insurance company and they called on my behalf
