Independent grocery store that has a very good range, you dont need to stop at other towns before you get here to holiday it seems to have everything including a good range of fresh meat and vegetables at good prices

Way to expensive and rude and arrogant staff. The woman and lanky skanky guy who proudly says I've got internet on my phone. Tourist are not welcome. This show's bad rapport. Anyway my advice is to do what I did. Because I was staying longer order Woolworths online or Coles. I ordered Woolies and got My week's shopping the next day with a smile and well priced. By the way the man in the fork lift,if you ever call My 72 year Old brother the gutter name you called him I will call police. That is a cowardly Act. Shame on the general store hall's gap

Very expensive (bag of cheap Pasta costs more than $3 which is 79ct in Aldi) and many nonperishable things out of stock with many empty shelves. Only the hats were the cheapest I've seen so far

It has everything you need and friendly staff, however if you're coming to Halls Gap for the weekend I'd recommend you shop before you leave and bring supplies with you.We spent a week's grocery budget on enough food for the day. It's super expensive which is pretty standard for a small country town.

Left a few caravan bits at home, 15 amp lead, leaking hose connections, straight in for what I needed, not a bad price considering. Out of trouble fast and friendly guy on front counter to check the bits I bought were what I needed! Well done!

It has most of the things you need in a quiet town but be aware that it is very pricey. A can of tuna cost $3+ as compared to Coles which cost about a $1. But a great place to shop for your basics when needed.
