Unreliable, doubtful professionalism.I arrived at About Print at around 4:00 pm, I had a small but urgent job - two only cut-letter name signs totalling 15 letters 120 mm high.“Two weeks” was the response, I said I needed them the next day and moved to leave to try the next place (one mentioned by About Print). However, there was an exchange of words by the operators and a “we can do it”, material was checked and available, the signs would be ready by 5:00 pm the next day. I asked for a cost estimate (not a quote) in order that I could bring sufficient for the required cash transaction - “$100” which was OK with me as a premium was reasonable for a rush job. I left very relieved.The next day i was phoned at 1:27pm to be told “we can’t do the job”, leaving me 3.5 hours to find an alternate supplier.I started the ring-around “yes, bring the details in at about 2:30” I did. “Ready by about 4:30” was the response.At 4:30 I picked up two copies of each sign for a total cost of $60. On thanking the person the response was: “no worries, it was a small job, easy to slip in”Sent from my iPhone
