My friends and I are members of Mingara Club & Gym...we love the club. The staff in both areas are very helpful and friendly. With various eating areas...just a coffee, lunch or a glass of wine with friends, there is so much to choose from the menus & the food generally of a high standard.At the Roasted Berry, however I think the staff are under pressure, not sure what the issue was, perhaps communication between the coffee area & the kitchen area OR short of trained staff. My coffee & toast order came separately with many minutes in between TWICE. I HAD asked for them TOGETHER on ordering as I like hot coffee and hot snacks TOGETHER!!First time.........coffee, no toast.Second time...toast, no coffee.My companion...on the same table, originally ordered her coffee at the same time, but had received nothing for the whole of the time, I had the above issue!! Perhaps 20-30minutes.So my question is....why was the secondary coffee making van removed??I had lunch on Tuesday 7th with another companion, same place and we thought the coffee van a great idea....The smaller outlet set up near the down escalator had drinks and light treats for those patrons only wanting a coffee, tea or soft drink, a cake...no meals.This seemed to take the pressure off the main order desk at The Roasted Berry. Only a suggestion, but the staff either need more support staff, training or the return of the coffee van permanently.5 stars to the staff throughout they did not lose their cool

Took the little one there for a big brekkie, chicken nugs and a milkshake. Really enjoyed it both times and the service from the waiter on the second visit was top shelf! Our last visit 6 months ago was pretty average so good to see the improvement :)

Took the family here for a lovely lunch. The staff were all very polite and ready to assist. The portions were very generous and well cooked. Everything was obviously fresh and well presented.There was something nice for everyone in family and sometimes this is hard to achieve. Because of the ease of app ordering, which I do love, we had one alteration to our order but it was handled without hassle and the substitution was excellent. Will visit again.

I visited the club for an event on a Sunday; ordered twice on seperate occasions. First order was for a meal and second was for an iced chocolate in the afternoon.The smashed avo was presented well and tasted good.The iced chocolate order took long to receive and I needed to approach the counter and point out that it had been sitting there for some time. This was disappointing.The cafe looks good, the set up is nice and comfortable and the menu is attractive also.

Beautiful and well designed cafe . Coffee was great . Food was not very well plated , lumped on the plate and when my partners and my dishes arrive the condiments were not with the meals as stated on the menu . ( chutney & sour cream ) only got one of them when i asked . And the meals really needed them .

Its a shame really that such a beautiful and frankly posh club such as this doesn't monitor service in its eateries. Wait staff were lovely, kitchen hopelessly slow and food not plated nicely when it finally did arrive (waited half an hour, drink finished, almost asked for my money back) . I really wanted my experience to be better as I love the club otherwise.

I have always found the service excellent here, more so this morning for breakfast! I guess everyone is glad to see business as usual things again. In any case, I had my usual eggs benedict this time with extra fired halloumi and hash browns - highly recommended!

Waited 40 minutes for them to heat up my almond croissant. It was bland, dry and hard. My poached egg were as hard as a boiled egg. Toast was so dry my knife couldn't cut through it. Waiters were friendly and tried their best to accommodate us. Will not be going back.
