Australia Post - Cairns Business Centre

Absolutely appalling customer service. Incorrect collection card left in my mailbox by the postie resulting in lost parcel.The “I don’t really care” attitude by the incredibly rude female at the parcel collection window was overwhelming. Her comment- “I really don’t have time to deal with this”.Send her to the Earlville PO to receive some decent customer service training from Jenelle or Arthur.Aust Post should be horrified!

I watch tracking information carefully and I am disappointed to see that it takes as much as 6 days (1 instance) and an average of 2days for items to be distributed to the destination Post Office that is only 60 km away once it the items have hit the Cairns black spot...

My package has been sitting in sorting facility for 32 hours. When I call up I can only speak to robots. Honesty avoiding this postal service at all costs next time.

The address on my parcel is clearly marked Pheasant St Bayview Heights. How the hell does my parcel end up in Sunbird Close. Would appreciate if you Australia Post could look into this????Poor service

I pay for delivery on items but when parcel gets to cairns instead of giving the parcel to parcel delivery it is given to postman which they know will not fit into a letter box so therefore i have walk 3 kilometers at 70 years old in the heat really australia posti would not recommend or ever use you again .

5 Stars for The parcel delivery bloke in my area (Bayview Heights).Polite, efficient bloke who goes the extra mile to ensure the delivery gets to me as fast as possible and in good order.Wish the whole organisation was as good.

Delivery driver left my parcel at the wrong address. This is the second time that this has happened to me and I am so upset. Australia Posts attitude is too bad so sad nothing much we can do.How about contacting your delivery driver for this area and making him or her go back to the address they left it at and then return to the correct address.If I could give no stats I would so frustrated and upset.

I went in to enquire about the status of my package as it had arrived at the facility yet my estimated delivery date wasn’t until 4 days later? And I live down the street from the mail centre there so I thought maybe I could even pick it up myself? Anyways, the customer service I received was so slack. I felt judged for asking a curious question and made to feel dumb about it. I left with no answers and more confusion then what I walked in with :(

You will receive the same government mandated service experience at this Australia Post facility as you would at any other. I prefer to use private couriers and don’t really approve of the government pushing out private enterprise in the package delivery market.My only interaction with this location was a week ago when I received an SMS advising me a package I was to receive that day was to be collected from the depot. It did not have the complete address on it. It turns out the issue with the address was the order the shipper put my business’ unit number. So instead of Unit-Street-City, the address was written Street-Unit-City. So address was there, but confused AusPost staff.I arrived 2 hours after receiving the SMS advising me to collect my parcel. Unfortunately the parcel was not available at the window and was missing. In the 30mins it took them to find it I took some pics, drove to get a cup of coffee, and sent a few emails. Overall a pretty normal AusPost interaction. The place operates like its 1993, so have patience.
