Mount Exmouth lookout

If you have a moderate level of fitness and some hiking experience, give Mt Exmouth a go - you will NOT be disappointed. This particular summit is the more challenging of the summits in the National Park. The last time I was on the summit of Exmouth, it was late March 2021 and we were greeted with sunny skies and a very gentle breeze. Mt Exmouth is a gorgeous place to have lunch or watch the sunrise. There are places on Mt Exmouth where you can sit near the cliff edge and take in the amazing views of the entire national park, and what is even more special is this Summit gets hardly any foot traffic. During a weekend when the rest of the park had a few walkers, we saw NO ONE on this Summit.The walk to the Summit is steep in places. You will see plenty of ferns, cutting grass, and views of Mt Bluff on your way up. Highly recommend getting on top of Mt Exmouth during your Warrumbungle adventures.
