I have been buying PWB 16mm and 20mm chain for many years which has been a great product for moorings. But i have been very disappointed with the lack of customer consultation about producing the product offshore. We have in the past (when Australian made chain was not available) bought Chinese made chain only to find it to be a very poor product. We liked that PWB supported Australian manufacturing and the quality it represented. We are now actively searching for another supplier of chain. Unless PWB start manufacturing in Australia again I doubt we will be back even if it ends up costing us more.
