Purchased a new SUP from these guys last year. Board arrived damaged. Sales guy complained about how much delivery cost was. Only offered to swap board if I was willing to drive 3 hours to pickup. Promised free board tape and didn’t send. To spend $2300 and have to repair the board on top of fibreglass imperfections. Service was all over the place. Will have to find a better supplier for my next one as this one is rubbish.

Hydrofoiled today with the best foiling lesson providers on the Sunshine Coast, for a couple reasons.1. The team at ocean addicts are shredders (but who isn’t who owns a surf shop) and just genuinely keen to get you up and foiling - and having fun.2. Price point. Such a bargain for 2 hours of absolute flying on water.3. Gear. The latest gear in the sport, a world class athlete and enthusiast (Ben, one of the first to foil in Aus) and the attitude to go with it.If you want an experience to change your life, foiling has been that for me. Getting up today and carving for a few turns, I was so born to do this. Sharing that experience with Dave (instructor) was just next level. Nothing compared to wakeboarding, slacklining, skating, surfing or anything else I’ve tried. This is next level.I’m not one to buy a board after trying something for the first time, but there is no way I can walk away from the coast not investing in the future of so much stoke once I get good at this. Thank you so much guys.

I purchased a SUP online from 600km away. The next day a guy from Ocean Addicts called me and asked me a whole lot of questions. He then recommends a different board. The board he recomended is sensational and a lot different from what I ordered. Great service! Thanks guys for saving me from a costly mistake.

Warning!!! Do NOT purchase a gift vouchure. The vouchure took a long time to be emailed out, several months after purchase. Now we are unable to arrange the use of the vouchure as we cannot get though to the store via phone, messenger or email. Despite multiple emails, Facebook message and phone calls over 5 months!Upon posting this review, we finally recieved a response asking to take down the 'nasty review.' But again, since this occurred, trying to arrange a lesson, we have heard no further from ocean addicts despite multiple attempts our end to contact the store. Ultimately, this review is simply honest and factual. I am very disappointed and will be seeking a refund.
