Angus House Veteran Accommodation
Angus House is located in an area surrounded by the Wesley Hospital, Toowong Shopping Village, medical practices and walking distance to two train stations. Only two stops to the city make this place very convenient for war veterans passing through Brisbane especially people attending the Wesley.I've used Angus House for over ten years when in Brisbane for medical reasons and the current supervisor Linda and her assistant Tina make it a home away from home. A resort it is not, however I give it five stars for what it is, a godsend for numerous veterans and their wives/partners who have been required to be in Brisbane for whatever reason.

outstanding service to all ex and current serving members.. cannot praise them highly enough.. top quality meals, rooms, and most of all, very extremely helpful people in sorting our selves out. ANGUS HOUSE helped me, get my act together, and made such good friends ... been 14 years now, since being there, still in my mind, always.. if you are in trouble, service wise, thats where to go.. my thanks to the staff and the friends i made there.. :)

Love the staff and set up, but parking is a bit light on. Can be difficult if you have mobility issues, long walk from carpark to rooms if not fit. Did enjoy stays, but depends on how well you are at the time. Can't beat price for services provided. Thank you for looking after our ex device people.

You know those places that smell like old chip oil and so does the manchester, this place is like that. The building is solid but unkempt and poorly maintained. The person responsible for cleaning is more interested in socialising or following you round instead of being diligent or conscientious, unfortunately. Some of the appliances, bedding and fitments are well past their use by date or unserviceable. Kettle was disgusting, looks like it's never been cleaned.

Fairly sure they had a water leak (update: it has been fixed) - the footpath in front has a constant trickle of water.
