We are sailing on Explorer of the Seas and due to weather conditions we were unable to visit Cairns. We had booked a tour with Peter at Yorkeys Knob Tourist Information centre and no sooner had we phoned to cancel the tour than we were issued a refund on our deposit. We found this firm to be very professional and friendly and would book with them again. Dated 4/4 /2019

If it was not for Peter from Yorkeys Knob Tourist Centre I may not have got a booking for my daughter to see the Reef. We are cruising up there in a couple of weeks and I was struggling to book through the cruise. However, after speaking with Peter and him booking our reef trip I am extremely happy I chose this option as it was much cheaper than the cruise boat could offer. My little girl will now get to snorkel and not miss out on something she has wanted to do for a long time. Thank you Peter for all your assistance.

Yorkeys Knob Tourist Information CentreVisited on 17/7/2022Do not expect a pushy office within a cruise ship terminal. It is a small multi-operation building with a large inscription of Villa Marine on the wall.Besides being an information centre, it serves as tour organiser and souvenir sales outlet.It has been long overdue to have an ocean liner cruise, and hopefully my tour buddies and I can visit Cairns again when our ship stops by in March 2023. We left our contact details with Peter, so that we can communicate further in regards to organising local tours during the Port call.

While on a cruise from Sydney to Port Douglas, Australia, we stopped in the Yorkey’s Knob Tourist Information Center and we were greeted immediately by Peter and his team… He is a super knowledgeable tour.agent that worked every angle to get us to the Great Barrier Reef! Without the help, and advise given by Peter the holiday in Cairns wouldn't have been successful. Peter was thorough and efficient and was extremely considerate when I had to cancel one of the trips due to an accident. I received a full refund immediately. I will definitely book with Peter again. Peter is an absolute wealth of knowlege on all things Far North Queensland. He helped us choose the perfect tour so we could take our 5 year old snorkling on the reef. The tourist centre has all of the maps and information that you need and I even bought a lovely sarong from there. Thanks so much Peter.

Peter was very knowledgeable and helpful on the phone - I called inquiring about bird watching tours as an amateur in this new interest area, and in addition to offering suitable tours he went above and beyond with general advice and information on bird watching groups, magazines, as well as free self-guided tours in the region and specialist bird watching websites to find out more. Truly knowledgeable and helpful!
