I have been very happy with the cost and service for my car. I have had a few tyre problems and they sorted them out efficiently and at a great price. I also get my car serviced here and am pleased with their customer service and work. A1

(Ford Falcon BF 2007 LPG dedicated)They are nice mechanic friendly and would keep you updated on the things that need to be done to your car and also fair and reasonable pricing. However when I had my car serviced in S&J 3 weeks ago they told me that the belt needed replacing. which is okay i dont mind it being replaced and good it was replaced properly but the mechanic of S&J forgot to plug my fan back!!!! and also overfilled my coolant supply tank it was way past the MAX LINE!!! and because of that I'm in a huge pile of problem now. because the fan wasn't plugged backed in when the replacement of the belt was done. I used the car to drive home on a rush hour time my car overheated!!! and it was like a domino effect the coolant boiled and over flown to the gas converter which was not their fault since it was the design of ford to place the gas converter underneath the coolant supply tank. But because of the fan not being plugged back in the car overheated..(the converter needed replacement $300 just the part not including fitting) and other problem that would occur with the engine overheating..... so it was the NEGLIGENCE of the mechanic to not plug in the fan. I'm not recommending S&J to anyone that I know and I'm not coming back....(It was me who found out that the fan wasn't plugged backed in because when it overheated I stopped on the side of the road and checked the possible cause like coolant and oil etc. and I saw the fan wire hanging and not being plugged in. When I plugged it in it started to spin and made the engine temp go down. But it was too late the damaged was done.)

Dishonest and unprofessional people especially the mechanic. Took my car for AC issues and they told me that they’ll diagnose the issue for $120 but after an hour they said the couldn’t pinpoint the issue and asked me to pay $180 since they have re-done the gassing of the system, that was info never discussed before. I asked them about the confirm diagnoses which they didn’t provide, they said bring it next Friday and they well diagnose the issue. Came Friday and the go leave the car for few days since they are busy and they will change extra. I reminded them what they have the the are going to find the issue the same day without charging me extra.Ultimately they asked me to come another certain day and they will do it on the spot. That day again they say they can’t do it and after few arguments the mechanic got really aggressive.If you love your hard earn money, don’t go there and I have got the correct business as they say I am not on their system, typical behaviour!

After an ordeal with my tyre being punctured, S&J were the only ones that accepted my phone call to have it looked at. I can’t understand how thrilled I was with the service and kindness. Highly recommend!

This is my second time i am visiting this place. I had got my car serviced first time quickly.I gave my Audi car for fixing last week second time. Its hard to deal with these guys everything . My car was not drivable. So i towed my car. After that i hardly had any updates for two days about the car. They said they dont know what problem is. Even when i call for updates no status of progress on car. They said they dont know when it will be ready.But they got annoyed on me as i am asking for update and asked me to pickup car without completing.I suggest if they are busy dont give misleading information to customers and dont accept over bookings. When they found out Its a pump that they had to replace. They didn't order right part for 2 days, when i ask them why they said they are busy. So went and i called Audi parts team they said part is available and will delivered same day and for them they will deliver part for $566 from Tullamarine for a business but Tim charged me $800 for same part as they went for different spare parts. Not reasonable pricing either. I would definitely wont visit this place. They offered me courtesy car but even it was not ready and i had nightmare getting it.(It was 1990 Toyota). While i return the car, and went to refill petrol but tank is not opening so i offered to pay extra for petrol. They insisted me to refil the tank.

Tim is very helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help me get my car serviced even dury the busy Christmas season. A very honest professional who will leave you feeling at ease that your car is in the best of hands. AVOID at all costs!! What started as a genuine service provider providing me with stories of other customers with similar issues, (warning sign 1) turned to be the worst I have ever encountered.. paid for a diagnosis that I already knew was the problem. What I thought I was paying for was a detailed diagnosis! The job was RUSHED.. called at 4.45pm for update.. 10 mins later car was ready. Did NOT even inspect nor open the section of the car! Outrages quote with every extra possible was provided, pricing was far MORE then any competitor! Even dealerships! Was told that no warranty would be provided (warning sign 2) if I only wanted one component fixed. I am a local of 35 plus years and have never felt so disappointed and ripped off. Was shown examples of other peoples blown parts (warning sign 3) I have worked in the industry amongst LMCT and VACC members for many years and expect more from those carrying the accreditation ! Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!! AVOID !

Tim has been servicing all our family cars for many years and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone that is in need of any auto repairs or servicing.Tim and Ken are very professional and their pricing is very reasonable.Whatever work was needed they were very honest and definitely know their way around cars.

These guys are absolute jokes!Today I got my car air con regassed. Every thing went well until it was time to make payment!I used the tap and go feature on my phone in which their terminal did not read. I didn't have cash on me and was still waiting on my new card to arrive.We tried multiple times to see if it would go through in which it didn't.The guy at the desk told me to call my bank and check my account as if i was stooging him out of paying. I called my bank and placed it on loudspeaker where she said it was the terminal.He told me I would have to go to an atm and get cash as he was not releasing my car to me.He googled the atm which was 1.8km away and expected me to walk there with my 2 year old son and walk back. Dont know how he expects any 2 year old would go walking almost 4 km!!I asked for the boss and he said hes not in but later found he WAS the boss. I asked them if he'd accept bank transfer in which he gave me a blank look n said no. basically i pay cash and I could walk, no other aSo off I went pretty annoyed and mind you carried my son there and back.I got back and expressed that i was annoyed was told sorry our eftpos usually works and that their customers dont normally pay that way.. well ONE DID TODAY! so suggested they upgrade and get with the times as this is the ONLY place that hasn't got" this option.I called them to ask for their email address and was told to complain to the bank instead and that none of their customers have ever had an issue paying with their phone app and neither did they contradicting what they told me earlier and its not their fault I didnt come prepared and pay cash and it was my fault my son had to walk that far. They have no morals or compassion what so ever towards a toddler. Tim on the phone even suggested a bank transfer. I had already offered this to him earlier and was told No.So i did as they sais
