My daughter and I both attend classes here it's a wonderful experience as the instructor Mr P takes great care with the students, teaching them about respecting others from a very young age.. my daughter learns so much every day she goes and cannot wait to go back every time. As an adult all the students are very respectful of one and other and it's a friendly positive gym filled with enthusiasm. The training for adults is also of a high intensity and the results I've seen in myself and other students is incredible.

We signed up my 3 year old son for lessons but he unfortunately didn’t want to continue. He was crying at the thought of going and said he was scared. The instructor was lovely at the trial but then once we signed up basically ignored my son. We called Next Generation Taekwondo to cancel only to find out that it was a 6 week block we had to pay for. We asked for an exception to their contact by stopping the direct debits but they refused. They’ve now sent us to a collection agency which we’ll pay of course. Not very family friendly and a bit rich given they didn’t have to actually provide a service or product for their well earned money. This was after paying $140 membership fee and then actually leading me to believe that the classes were just paid for 1 at a time. I should have known they were money hungry and didn’t care about children after their aggressive sales techniques. I wasn’t really given the proper time to read the document I was signing (kids were distracting) and was talked through it saying it was just saying the price is $20/session. I was not given a copy of what I signed either. An expensive mistake on my part of not reading the fine print but shame on next generation for not making an effort with my son or for not understanding that continuing to drag my crying son to the lessons would only make him more afraid.Do yourselves a favour and avoid this money making soulless business.

I didn't realize I was posting on Ingle farm, hence the edit in my post so apologies to Mr Patterson.I joined my son 4 at the time in early July. Administration explained prior to trial class, that the trainer would hold the joining fee $49 and $20 lessons, but when joining, the instructor (hollywood plaza) mentioned something about new financial year and couldn't hold the prices, so it cost $65 to join $22 for 30 minute lessons, also I paid in advance for a lesson, which I have only recently realized was taken into consideration so I apologize the trial class was free thanks.I recieved an email from Mr Josh on the 14th July 21 welcoming me and reminding me the first payment was to come out on the 13th July 21,, yeh the day before. Lucky had the money in account so not an issue.I stopped taking my boy in November as he was kicking his 1 year old brother in the stomach, as he wasn't taught first this training was for self defense only, was difficult for me to get the point accross and I knew he enjoyed going so I stopped taking him hoping this would get thru to him. No one from admin called or emailed to follow up his absense, payments were still coming out so I sent an email to stop the payments until further notice, they rang and explained can only suspend payments for 4 weeks, I had already previously suspended for 3 weeks in the year, the money taken couldn't be put to future classes either, nice way of showing they care, made me feel a little intimidated and taken advantage of. When I explained reason why my boy hadn't been, was told I should be teaching him this is for self defense, good thing this is award winning classes. I said I would like to cancel as I felt this was not in the best interest of teaching my child what I believe is beneficial and for what is advertised, they stated I need to put it in writing and they will start 6 week cancellation payments, I asked in email to please honour some payments already made where son hadn't attended but no consideration noted. Payments made where Xmas and New Years studio closed anyway seemed like non contractual, but they cared so much better to their pockets rather than my child, nice contract. We were going to pay 6 month in advance, so glad we didn't do that option.I did make it clear thru email that I wouldn't be bringing my child to classes anymore and taking money from my account, I thought this was not a good way to accumulate honour for this organization and it felt somewhat bullying, as if they believed they somewhat own a customer because a contract was signed. Had I felt they did care about customer satisfaction I would have given a better rating, more than $220 was taken without training, I should have cancelled earlier.Payments have now stopped. This was just my experience and I'm sure others have had better experiences. All the best

More of a business model than actual teachings. Would not recommend to anyone. Constantly having “grading” so we have to pay. Everyone passes. My kid is yellow belt 3 stripes is the same as white belt at a different dojo.

My son attended for over two years. So stupidly l did not realize what a money rip off it is until he reached the grading for black belt. $750.00 for the grading. I was shocked I never knew it was that much. When I asked the lady in the office how much the next level would be in Black Belt she said she didn't know!!!??? Really? Incredible! I had to find out from a mother with 3 daughters who was also extremely shocked. Wonder how she found out how much it costs? Insane costings. We are considering another club with NO grading fees at all NO sparring, and plain and simple pricing. $45 to have the opportunity to break a plywood board with a groove across it to make it easy to break. Say no more. Pay to watch my own son in a sparring contest. The alarm bells should have rung much earlier. However the club did my son good but the various levels of belts are far too easily achieved. Sorry but never again we should have checked out genuine clubs. And 6 weeks to stop the direct debits wow that says it all! That amounts to $180.00. I have NEVER EVER known any other firm to take this long. Oh but it's in the contract!!! When I cancelled an insurance policy it took 3 days to stop direct debits. Oh but I had no contract. NEVER AGAIN will I take ANY CONTRACTS. Thank you NGK for teaching me that lesson!!!!! I actually wonder what that $180.00 is used for hmmmmmm? And it better stop on the 6 weeks or the bells will ring!

The next generation Taekwando is a really good martial arts learning school. They are felxible with their timings, professional and it is run by Master Josh. They have 5 studios and have won 'Top studios in the World' and 'Top 50 Masters' awards. We have been to their Hollywood Plaza studio run by Mr. Mobbs who is a very diligent master and grading is every 3 months at the IngleFarm studio.

What they are telling before sign in do not match after completing signing.1. Before sighing they told us that if I want to cancel the enrollment, I have to give them 6 weeks notice in normal situation. But in case of urgent cases, I can cancel it without 6 weeks notice. Due to my job, I have to move another place and asked them that i want to cancel because of this reason. That time they told me this is not a issue that they will cancel enrollment on urgent basis. so I have to pay 6 weeks before cancellation. I am moving from here, it is not urgent case for them, how fumy their concept is.2. Before sing in they said that weekly payment will be only $22, but after sign in they charged $28.80 during first payment including $5.5 as setup fee. Also they are charging $1.30 as administration fee each week. All these information they hid before sign in.3. Their training concept is the worst one. They show what to do in the class, but are not taking care of individual students if they can not understand or can not follow the instruction.4. They charged fees during Christmas and New year closer but has not offered any make up classes. my kid is going to swimming lessons, they were also closed during Christmas and did not charge for that week.My overall experience is they are the worst training institute I have ever seen. They only know how to take money from others pocket, without giving proper service. Going with them is a total waste of money.

Though I haven’t been here in many years from my experience I had a great time and learned very much from the instructor Mr. Patterson. I made my way to the black belt level and was truly impressed by my improvements, I gained so much confidence and felt proud to be where I was at. After reading a few of the reviews I can say that these are mostly coming from parents who expected quick changes with their kids who in my opinion don’t know any better, I started when I was around nine and improvements do happen quickly but if you truly want to change and improve for the better you have to play the long game. If you want the most you have to put in the most. True the gradings can get a little pricy the later you get but I still wouldn’t change a thing, I learnt so much even though I only spent three years there. Miss you guys hope it’s still going well! - Brooklyn Harris

We have been attending Next Generation Taekwondo Ingle Farm with Mr Paterson for 4+ years. He is incredibly passionate and dedicated to his students and their journey, not only in Martial Arts, but also in life.We have 2 children with medical complexities and he has been committed to supporting them and understanding them to focus on their strengths, helping our kids be successful in and out of the studio.Mr Paterson understands when to challenge and when to nurture the students to help their growth. All of this is what makes him a positive role model, and like family to many of his students.
