Professional, friendly, good service. There are enough hair dressers on rotation that usually I don't have trouble booking on weekdays on the same day. Self check-in via tablet is still a thing here which is nice that I can arrive and sit in the waiting area without disturbing anyone. Haircuts look great, full head rinse/massage with the standard haircut. Couldn't ask for anything more from your hair dresser from a male point of view.

Loved getting my hair done here today! I hadn’t been in ages to get a cut because I’m a little nervous about going the hairdressers, but the staff were all very lovely. I had Bella cut my hair and she did a fabulous job, very happy with the results. Would love to know what shampoo and conditioner they use? Thanks!

Done my hair cut a few months ago. I got my hair done by a regular hairstylist but for some reason she wasn't professional and even being rude. Disappointed so no thanks I won't come back here again.

Have been here before multiple times before covid and used to be really happy with the service and skill, but upon returning, I was beyond disappointed. Came here for a fringe cut, the hairdresser not only refused to cut it the way I requested but also did a rushed 5 min job and didn’t even bother to style it. Got home to see that it was uneven and choppy. So frustrated and would not recommend this salon to anyone again.

Booked an appointment to get my hair cut here yesterday. The staff were very polite, having a locker to leave my bags in was good and the price was reasonable. However the haircut I received was uneven. It was initially very uneven - much longer on the right, after pointing this out the hairdresser (I think his name was Hide) did take a little off the right side, it's less noticeable now, but it's still not quite even. He didn't check the lengths from the front or by standing behind and measuring the lengths while looking in the mirror like I've had with other hairdressers elsewhere, he only looked from the sides and back, which is probably why the lengths don't match. Bit disappointing, it would've been a nice haircut if the lengths had matched!

Ive been going to the same hairdresser for a decade but shes moved through covid so i thought id try this place out - theres so many of them around.I was their last appointment on a thursday evening - think there were only trainee staff left. While the tea and the hairwash were fantastic, the cut was actually horrific. I asked for my fringe to be cut a certain way and the stylist kept asking if i wanted it shorter - since im not a hairdresser, im not sure, i just want it to look a certain way. In the end i left with a fringe with so many missed bits through it - hardly a fringe but a shorter bit with long strands through it (refer pic and this is after i cut some of the random strands off)Very disappointed and I wont be back. Ill also be telling anyone that asks to avoid this place.

Good service but lower than average indeed no skill. I had the worse haircut ever. Charged almost $300 and they must have used an apprentices. Said will do layering ended up even the straight up was not that straight at the back. Better had gone anywhere than go trying luck with SHINKA. Unless you know a particular good hairdresser in SHINKA, otherwise don’t try your luck…

I went here to get a shampoo and blow dry during my lunch break on a whim (booked the morning of). I was beyond impressed with the efficiency and result!!! The stylists were very accommodating of my time constraints. My hair can be quite difficult to work with (fine and easily tangled) but that was all managed efficiently. I ended up with natural looking waves (naturally straight hair) within an hour!!
