Safe Haven Wollongong

I feel very safe coming here. As soon as I arrived, there was a young girl who opened the door straight away to greet me. She was very friendly & gave me a weighted blanket & some stress toys to squeeze to relieve my tension. I felt comfortable talking to her to get my problems off my chest, even though I became very emotional. I stayed until the closing time of 10pm. She was even nice enough to call me on the weekend to check on how I was going & how my experience was at Safe Haven. I would definitely come here again if needed. I would highly recommend this over a hospital setting for anyone who is feeling suicidal & needs support.
