New Wave Swim Centre

We have been going to New Wave Swim Centre for almost 1.5years with my 2 ASD children.Not only did Shannon extend business hours to allow my son to have a quieter environment to swim his 1:1 lessons in, his swimming instructor Keryn has modified the classic swimming teaching to allow my son the time and space he needs to learn to swim. This year he was confident enough to participate in the swimming carnvial and safely swam 25m. He began as a complete non swimmer 1.5years ago at the age of 11.My daughter (aged 10) has progressed from 1:1 lessons to group lessons and is now learning breaststroke from being a complete non swimmer 1.5yrs ago.I would highly recommend this amazing team to anyone wanting to start or continue their childs swimming journey.

My daughter has been swimming here for the past two years and I can't recommend enough. It's quick and easy which suits our busy schedule. No distractions like other centres. They genuinely want your child to progress through the levels so they are always pushed to extend their capabilities. Learning water saftey is their number one priority from the get go!! All the teachers are amazing as is their front desk staff. We look forward to our lessons every week!

Couldn’t be happier with this swim centre.My two sons both swim here and have made so much progress since we switched to New Wave.So many lovely teachers who cater to all the different needs of the kids, even making my difficult 3year old look like a perfect angel while he’s at swimming.

We had a child with additional needs and the swim school was not collaborative in their teaching methods even when we raised this with the teacher. They advertise as a swim school that caters for special needs, yet the teacher could not handle the 2 kids she had in her class. We decided it was enough when she asked them both to get out of the pool and your mother's can deal with you.""

Great swim school! Ive tried probably all the local swim schools and this is one is amazing! Plus no chlorine which is a huge plus for us!!
