Spa Electrics

I put in a new pool near on four years ago and have five Spa Electric colour lights. Initially one failed within the first year followed by two more the following 12 months. Spa Electric‘s customer service was very good - They mailed out a new light each time at one point sending a service electrician for the first faulty light.We now have another light that is blown, it seems to be a consistent pattern that the lights provided are flawed/faulty and of a poor quality.I’ve spent hours speaking to the customer service team who have been good.The most recent light to blow which occurred 6 months ago was a previously replaced one, installed 18mths ago. The service centre advised the lights only have a 12 month warranty and we will be required to pay for the return & fix.I do not find the 12 month warranty up to speed as all lights within our house have a minimum five year warranty. I find, while it may meet consumer law, it’s not the warranty of a quality product that consumers would expect on such an item.Very disappointed.

Contrary to a lot of reviews, I have found Spa Electrics service to be top notch and very accommodating. When you buy a product it's not always about the product, but also the support that comes with it. Spa Electrics is a clear example of this.

Excellent service provided by Kelly and Rose in exchanging a faulty pool light which was over 2 years old. I called them at 8:45am and by 9:00am I was on my merry way with my brand new light.Thanks guys for the excellent service, this is the second time I’ve had the same issue and the first time I was treated in the exact same manner. Very rare to find company’s like this any more.Have a merry Christmas.

Warning :These lights are the worst lights on the market . They are over priced and don’t offer a better product. I purchased 3 lights spending over 1k and only lasted approx 2.5 - 3 years . no warranty or service . They were full of water as all seals failed and the manger simply said that it’s to bad . I will never purchase these ever again

I've had lots of trouble with my retro fit RGB pool lights. When they work, they are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, I have been through 2 sets and 2 remote controls but I have to say, the company has been so accommodating, always sending someone out and replacing them even though they are WAY out of warranty. Obviously they believe in their product so even though I'm probably not happy with the lights (only in terms of them failing), the Customer Service from Kelly is the best I have come across. Great work standing behind your product.

I bought two retro multi’s in November 2013 and installed them into my renovated pool. I have just recently bought my 4th replacement as my lights failed one after the other during this time. These lights look amazing when they are operating, unfortunately they do not last and are expensive to buy/replace. My supplier at Molendinar advised me to stick with the single colour lights as they don’t have as many problems as the multi colours. Wish he told me that in 2013.

I had a pool light fail, which was 10 months out of warranty. Was told to return it for free repair, and quickly got a brand new light back as replacement. So customer service very good, but would have preferred light not to fail. I see quite a few reviews reporting same experience.

Most amazing customer support ever. I went to the pool expo in 2017 and saw these guys there. After reading about their products I decided to go ahead and purchase them. The product is very good. Clean slim look and very very bright. Now, this is when a company shows their true colours. I had problem with one of my lights and based on their observation, they decided to help me as if I just purchased the products 1 week ago. Amazing after sales customer service and a huge Thank you to Kelly.
