After yesterday hearing the CEO of Australia Post complain that the company can’t make a profit then attending Atherton post office I’m not surprised. They’re running at idle, I turned up at midday to be told its lunch until 2 so were short staffed and consequently they wanted me to come back in 2 hours! No private business would tolerate that rubbish. The sooner they go broke and privatised the better.

I have been going here for 6 years since I moved from the area and today I was finally prompted to leave a review. Service at this post office is always generally good but one of the employees is a stand out" all day every day! He is always polite and helpful far beyond expectations and so I thought it was time that as a customer I should share my experience. Thanks Ziggy for your constant friendly smile

Really unimpressed by their service today - they told an Indigenous Australian that they can't have a passport because they don't have an Australian Driving License. If you're going to offer Passport services, learn your stuff!(Malanda Post Office are much better trained and delightfully polite!)
