Simon Carpet

Was in the market to re-carpet my apartment and drove past Simon Carpets and decided to check them out having been to other suppliers. Shaun was so helpful and knowledgeable with no sales pressure. Very refreshing. I have today had my carpet laid - again hassle free and such a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

I was so impressed with Simon Carpets. They listened to the products I was looking for, provided me with excellent samples and installed my flooring perfectly throughout my house. I have recommended their services to several of my friends who have all been pleased with their work.

Couldn’t be happier with with the finished result. After shopping around we got the guys from Simon Carpets to install our oak timber floorboards and loop pile carpet. As a tradesman myself, their attention to detail and workmanship is second to none. Great work and a great bunch of guys, not a mention reasonably priced.

We have been trusting Simon Carpets for 40 years and the new owners are fantastic on price, helpful in product selection and very courteous when measuring and installing. They allowed us to take large size samples to view them in our home which lead to a decision change due to the light. Do not use Simon Carpets for Vinyl installation. The workmanship of the installer was poor and I'm very dissatisfied with the floors and service. Being a flooring place and for the price I paid, I expected a decent floor with neat finishes. Instead the vinyl was cut shorter than the skirting board in a number of places so there's gaps around the edges and it looks unfinished, they didn't seal the edges and the guy said he doesn't do caulking which I thought was standard for flooring in wet rooms to be finished with a sealant around the edges, and he dropped glue on the vinyl and didn't clean it up so the new floor is damaged. He also chipped paint off my laundry trough and door trims.

I used Simon carpet in a rental property and thought it needed replacing prior to selling. Luke came and stretched the carpet and suggested steam cleaning and the carpet came up like new. So very pleased with original carpet suggested by them and then 6yrs later the follow-up advise.
