Whitsunday Fishing Charters

Chris and Larry gave us the best morning fishing in Airlie. Their attention to detail and expertise was second to none. Their ability to bring total strangers together and have such an enjoyable fishing experience needs to be congratulated.We had a fabulous fishing adventure and brought the filleted fish home for lunch.Yum!Must do for anyone wanting to fish at the Whitsundays.

Excellent trip on Whitsunday Fishing Charters with Dave and Grant. Very knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly.Just a couple of real good bloke's.We went for a half day charter on the 7 metre boat and the action was on soon as we got to the secret spot, catching fish after fish. It was a full load with 8 clients but there was plenty of room.There is a toilet onboard which is good if needed, especially for the Sheila's. My wife enjoyed the event alot, with sore arms the next day from being stretched. Even got our catch cleaned up and bagged. We got picked up from the resort and delivered back which made things easy. Definitely recommend this tour it's the first time we did it and will be back every year. 11 out of 10.

From start to finish an absolutely amateur setup. After selling the reef whole day, the company decided last minute they couldn't make that happen due to people pulling out. Phone conversations dealing with the booking officer Julie took much longer than reasonably expected to be organised. One boats motor died and the day was cut short. The captain, Stu, completely belittled me for being seasick when he couldn't coordinate a simple swell. I was mocked for getting sharked when we were chasing Nannis. I feel genuinely sorry for the tourists who came along because this charter is a waste of money. The only competent person amongst the whole operation was the deckhand who worked tirelessly to get our rigs setup. I hope he finds a company worthy of his work ethic.The owner Greg is a belligerent, cantankerous bloke who is only interested in scamming cash.

Went out today with skipper Kenny & deckhand T (can’t remember his kiwi name sorry bud) Both absolute top blokes. Skipper very informative and managed to find some good spots out of the wind to get some fish. I got onto a huge Spanish mackerel and the deckie and skipper were great at getting all rods and lines out the way so I could fight my fish. Unfortunately I got busted off just under the boat but was good fun. We also took home a great coral trout which was absolutely amazing tasting. Kenny was a great skipper, we were fishing 70m of water at times and it was blowing a gale and still managed to hold us so we could keep in touch with the bottom on the drop. Both Kenny and t at the end of the trip filleted all the fish up and we’re still very chatty and made you feel like your cared for. T was a brilliant deckhand, always doing something wether it be baiting hooks, taking fish off hooks, rigging up, washing the boat down, the bloke didn’t stop but still had time to converse with everyone. Highly recommend if you want to be looked after well.Would definitely come out with you blokes again. Cheers

Had a half day our with our family, caught some nice fish. I have done a few charters and Larry and guys were so helpful, particularly with our kids. My boys are 10 and 13, both caught some keepers and had a blast. Would happily recommend them.

Had a great time on the water today and caught loads of fish. Skipper Stu, Tory, and Eddie were all great, and made the day that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Nabbed this 1/2 day fishing last minute as our other charter cancelled on us. Chris and Larry were awesome, had my 5 year old daughter on board and they always helped her drop line and boost her confidence so we could make the most of our time. Really knowledgeable fishermen and even in semi rough conditions Chris kept the boat steady which is an art form in itself. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife & I had a blast on our half day charter. Big shout out to Dave & Larry for making it such a great morning. The pick up service from our accommodation was an added bonus. We were blessed with glamorous conditions and a small group of only 6 passengers. Airlie Beach really turned it on with some good quality fish coming over the sides and even dropped a couple of monsters for the tail of the one that got away. The crew filleted our catch and we were directed to the Anchor Bar where they were only too happy to cook it for us. Can't wait to get back up there again soon.

Good banter, great fun and an esky of fish.Deckhand Larry and Skipper Chris really patient with all on board and super helpful and gave great tips & plenty of encouraging advice. I would recommend this charter to novice or experienced fishing enthusiasts.

Really great day!!! Cameron and Dave are great hosts and know all the best spots. Everyone just kept catching fish after fish. Including really big Coral Trouts and other delicious species :) Everyone was really friendly including Vicky in the office. We had to change dates because of high winds, but we’re kept informed and finally had the best day fishing ever. (Well except the weather was still a bit windy) The guys also knew all the spots where the wind didn’t affect us too much at all. The boat was huge and could have easily had another 4-6 ppl on it, but apparently they keep it capped at 8 to make it more comfortable. There was 7 people on board and everyone caught a fish or 5. Thanks again for a great day. I am a local and will be back!!
