STAY CLEAR OF THIS WOMAN - KIRSTEN KEENANKirsten Kennan would have to be one of the rudest individuals I have dealt with in a long time. If you see a position advertised by her, do yourself a favor and don't apply for it.I applied for a sales manager role advertised by Development Careers in March/April 2021. I then received contact from Kirsten Keenan asking me for a Zoom interview which I scheduled with her for the next day.Prior to the interview, I requested the name of the company I was interviewing for, she replied by saying that it would be discussed in the interview we have scheduled.In the Zoom interview, she immediately began to put me down saying I wasn't the top candidate for the position as others have 10 years experience in the role and I only have 1. Kirsten Keenan would have known this from my resume as the terms of employment are clearly stated. At this point, I thought to myself - well why are we even having an interview then. She then began to try and push me to a new home sales consultant role that I never applied for - I suspect that this is the only role she is appointed to recruit for. I told her I am not interested in that role and was looking for an out to end the interview nicely. She continued to blabber on about more irrelevant information so I thought I would ask her the name of the builder that she is recruiting for. She would not tell me and claimed that previous candidates have gone around her back directly to the employer and implied I would do the same. I found this quite offensive as I would never do this, although I can understand how other candidates haven't wanted to deal with this woman. I believe that she has just advertised this role on her own accord and hasn't been appointed by a company to recruit for the role if it even exists.After the weekend, I sent her an email nicely asking to be removed from her database as the interview stuck in my mind as she was so rude. She continued her rude manner (might be her only manner) and replied with Don't worry

I couldn't speak highly enough of Development Careers and the all around quality service they provide. Kirsten was exceptional when it came to lining up opportunities that suited my skill set and employers that aligned with my personal values.

Kirsten shows an understanding of the target industry and the players like no other. Plus she is a joy to deal with personally but never loses her professional touch.

I now avoid applying for all jobs advertised by Kirsten. There seems to be no point, for me anyway.
