Super wide variety and selection of Australian natives, from seedlings to mature. Great hidden wooden and iron sculptures there is chicken coop for children to observe and a children's play area. Staff are knowledgeable alot to see and take in. Great shop for gardeners and gardening. Hidden little oasis. Have a good stocked little store also. Well worth the visit.

Lovely layout that is wheelchair and pram friendly. Amazing native options and fabulous to visit to relax and unwind. You can buy an instant coffee and cookie from the shop or byo. Umbrellas for rainy days and play area for kids.

Amazing nursery with a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. The place is well organized with different labels and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely experience that I would recommend to have a look. There is also some seating place for a coffee and a chat while enjoying the greenery.

Love Zanthorrea....great choice of Natives. Helpful staff and just a beautiful garden feel which is inviting to wander around. We have ripped out a front lawn and slowly replanting as a native garden.

Zanthorrea Nursery is a family-owned garden centre, located in the hills of Perth, Western Australia. At Zanthorrea they specialise in Australian natives, which are among the world's most lovely and hardy plants.I relocated from Adelaide 5 mths ago & I have learnt that 60% of the wild flowers in WA can not be found anywhere else in the world.I was dragged to plant nurseries my whole childhood bit it’s funny, as now I remember it as a highlight, the adventure my sister & I had while our parents gathered for the coming season.Zanthorrea is a wonderland of natives, tropical, succulents & plantable produce. They have wonderful designed gardens & fish ponds to admire & the kids will love it! You will find pots galore, kids play equipment & chooks in a cage (ethical one that is) Coffee machine, ice cream & a gift shop that I could have emptied.Staff were knowledgeable & engaging when I had questions. With the drive that’s for sure!

Our new favourite nursery. Lovely friendly staff. Mini playground for the kids, wondrous small very cute shop as you walk in, displaying native garden products from bubble baths, soaps, room sprays to soft toys of our iconic wildlife and much more. Gorgeous array of native plants and grevilleas.

I may not have found the lucky bamboo I was chasing, however I was glad to take in the sights, see the large variety with clearly labeled signs and grouping.I can say even without purchasing any plants, this is worth the drive it’s to me a hidden gem.

A definite place to visit if you are into native plants. It's a big nursery in term of space. They might not the most extensive number of plants but mind you they are specialising in native plants so plants selection is selective only to native. You do find some strays like succulents and cacti. The place has a cafe area to sit but doesn't seem to have someone running the cafe itself. It is just a very small section. Also has a playground and a section where you can walk and sit and just enjoy the greeneries. What I love about this place is they sell many garden decorations and pieces, but definitely check out their pots. Bought some and will definitely be back just for the pots alone!

This nursery was recommended to me by the Kings Park staff as a good spot for visiting retail customers looking for native plants. Somewhat annoying to get to, it is not native only but more of a garden center. Their tube stock is at the furthest point of the store. For some reason they use an annoying round format tubestock which does not do wonders for stability. The selection is quite good with around four large tables and perhaps 60-80 species in total. There are unfortunately many root-bound tubes. The nursery charges $4 per tube if you buy 9 or more, but cannot pack, ship or sometimes even provide boxes which greatly complicates purchase.

A beautiful nursery, predominantly focused on Australian native plants. Everything is well set out, with plants grouped in different categories. The plants are very reasonably priced. They sell well established plants, as well as tube stock, seedlings, herbs and vegetables.Features also include a children's playground, public toilets, giftware, indoor plants, pots, soil and a sample garden. They even have pet chickens! The staff are friendly and can help to give you suggestions for your garden.
