Hit or miss. Ive had it for work christmas functions and it has been amazing.. but i have also ordered from the store and also from the food truck at events and i have been super disappointed. Over priced, dried out, lacking flavour. I had it from the food truck at Sydney zoo during the glow festival and it was truly an awful waste of money and the portion size was so so small. The whole group of people i was with left disappointed.

Ordered the family box last night. Absolutely terrible not real bbq just tasted like sous vide meat had no smoke flavour or smoke ring. Dodgy shortcut. Also missing items from order.

BlackBear BBQ was recommended to me by a friend. It was set like an American diner. I can smell the BBQ smell in the air. I got the brisket box which was good. Second time I went I got the not so hungry bear box. The brisket was juicy and loved the bbq sauce that came with it.It was good and I smelled like bbq smoke as if just went to a party.

When you first come here you are greeted by the smoke... The smokey goodness of a good roasting.First time here and the meat didn't disappoint. The pork belly is amazing! As was lucky enough to try it and wow it melts in your mouth!! The brisket is definitely juicy and flavoursome but a word of advice is to eat it while it's hot... When cold it's quite hard and chewy. I also got the southern chicken burger which was great as well! The brioche bun was so soft and matches nicely with the chicken and coleslaw. The chips were drenched in chicken salt just the way I like it.The kind staff also highly recommended the pork + hashbrown breakfast menu - will try next time.Overall, had a great experience here but the only downside is the price is tad expensive.

Located in the industrial area of Wetherill Park, BlackBear BBQ offers a great selection of BBQ options. On the pricey side but you do get value on the quality of and taste of the meat. Also worth a mention are the sauce and slaw that compliment the meal very well.

Love this place. My number one location to go to for pork ribs and brisket in Sydney. Not cheap but fairly priced for what you get and the labor required for smoked meats. I have been multiple times and I have never had a bad meal. The smoked meats are always juicy and the sauces are on point! The only time I was disappointed was went I wanted to get the ribs but they were sold out. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Staff have always been friendly.Would highly recommend.

Yummy delicious Amercian style slow cook BBQ which offers beef brisket, pulled pork, pork sausages, burgers with plenty more to choose from.Friendly staffs and quick services.Portion sizes are decent.We choose the Hungry bear box and the OG Burger box.

Located at Wetherill Park, Black Bear BBQ serves a wide range of mouth-watering meats and plenty of side dishes to satisfy those BBQ cravings. I was honestly quite surprised on how popular the restaurant is considering it’s location in an industrial area! My experience was not too great in the beginning as one of the staff forgot my order so I was left waiting for about 30 minutes. After waiting a while another staff noticed us waiting and attended to us immediately. Overall, good food and just okay service

Fantastic restaurant! This place offers delicious BBQ that will not disappoint. The staff are friendly and courteous to its customers. We ordered the Family Feast" - the name is fitting as the servings are huge and plenty. Easily enough for 4-6 adults!Tips:1. Make sure You bring a big appetite!2. Meat lovers delight3. Come in a group so you can try a bit of everything!"
