Sadly my purchase fell well short of my expectations. Currently residing in Ireland, I Google florist in Maclean and came across Flowerbox. As i proceeded to go through the right channels and click on the website tag it came up with a website with beautiful flower arrangements. I ordered aTirari Beauty for my cousin on her 40th. When she received it I was mortified. Thinking I had purchased a box full of established succulents in a gorgeous pot, I was gobsmacked when she received old succulents that had only just been planted, big rocks to fill the soil void and a flower box which looked like old fence palings held together with nails.I was extremely upset having paid $140, and it was clearly not worth anywhere near that value.To make matters worse when i called them to request a refund Melinda was very rude, and would not take any responsibility for the end product, blaming it all on the website and how it wasn't her site and that I need to take it up with petals (the website I went through to purchase). As a paying customer i was not aware that this website was not Melindas own, and that the flowers and gifts on the website were genric ones made by petals, an organisation Melinda is a member of.Melinda proceeded to tell me that I looked up Petals and went through them, when in actual fact I Googled Maclean florist, hoping to support a local business in this difficult time.All in all, I havent seen Melindas artist work in flowers, but i do know that what my cousin recieved is not worth the money I paid for it.To not include more contact details on Google, like her own website and email address, makes it extrememly difficult for overseas customers, such as myself, to understand exactly what we are exactly paying for. Working this way is probably doing Melindas business a huge injusticeIf you do go through the website then just be prepared, the end result could be entirely different.

Terrible. If I could leave zero stars I would. Had spent some time online looking at what arrangement I would order. Hoped to arrange a same day delivery (which according to the website was fine if ordered prior to 2pm. It was 10am so should have been okay). As there are some COVID restrictions in place around the country thought it would be prudent to just call and make sure they were open and able to do a same day delivery prior to ordering. Gave them a call and dealt with Melinda. I have rarely come across such a rude customer service operator. When I asked if they were available to do a same day delivery her response was I'd rather not". I was left rather gob smacked as I've not come across too many businesses that so rudely tell you to go away! Even if they don't want your business generally they deal with it in a more professional manner. I'm really not sure what's going on here but they certainly aren't keen for business. We ended up using another local florist at Yamba and couldn't be happier. Ring around ... you'll find much better service."
