Do not use this shop unless you want to experience the worst customer experience. And don't make a mistake as you will not get an exchange even if unused. I have been going to the QVB sore for years and never had an issue until recently. I mistakenly asked for Ball Point refills instead of Roller Ball refills. I realised as soon as I got home, but don't get into town that often, thought I would wait to exchange. By the time I was in again it was about 7 weeks later. The two staff, one male and one female flatly refused to exchange because it was over a month since the initial purchase. I asked were is your policy stating that returns must be within a month and was flippantly told everybody knows that

We actually came here for my husband. He love pens. We came during the holidays and there’s only the owner in the shop. Discussed so much with my husband about pens and explained a lot of different things. Let us write & compare. It’s his passion and it’s very much visible. He loved it and says he’s definitely coming back!!

Recently I was looking to purchase a 50th birthday present for my son on behalf of his sisters, his father & I.We were considering a pen & cuff links.The time spent with me was unbelievable & the level of service.The gentleman first established my son’s lifestyle & possible wants & needs before presenting options.I wanted photos to sent of options & this was done for me with my phone, even putting the cuff links (and photographing them on his sports shirt; the links being suitable for business & leisure.Exceptional service.Jenny Wilson, Kirribilli

This has got to be the best pen store I have ever been. I had bought the AL-star glossy red Special Edition Fountain Pen and Notebook Gift Set at a very fair price. It may be slightly a bit expensive, but the price is quite reasonable for pens of such a good quality. In fact, it does deserve a higher price, as the quality is way too good. It has got to be the best of Lamy, not only because of their fluorescent transparent yellow grip, and one of the orangish red feeds, but also how smooth it writes. Fitted with my large volume cartridge, it can last me an entire week before my cartridges need to be refilled. And the refill process is also very easy. Simply pull out the blue plug at the back, plug the glass pearl back in, and you can fill the cartridge with a syringe only, rather than requiring a needle to refill.The staff member had shown an enthusiastic and polite manner and attitude. They have shown me respect and care like no other pen stores have before. This is the bestest pen store I had ever been in my entire life. They have the best manners and attitude we can ever ask for. Anyone who shops or buys anything here should be very grateful.I am also looking to apply for a part time job in this store.However, I am seriously concerned about some racist comments and some rude comments written by some other ungrateful customers who do not know to appreciate their hard work.I also think all those comments containing terrible service" "horrible service"

Tense and unpleasant wanted to buy a pen but because I didn’t do much research beforehand and wanted to take my time I was asked directly several times if I have decided - one of the poorest shopping experiences I’ve had. Staff were condescending and pushy in manner, arrogance and rudeness was unnecessary. Not worth a cent to even deal with these people

Good collection of pens but I really dislike the old school customer service. I never had a chance to browse & think, shop keepers (esp weekends) like to chat a lot, I mean…. A LOT. Probably a good place for anyone who’s new to fountain pens, needs the preliminary introduction and doesn’t mind being talked into buying something. For someone who has been using fountain pens for 30 years and know a bit about them, I was quite annoyed.

Great shop with lots of different pens.I bought a pen that had malfunctioned for no particular reason.As it was still under warranty they replaced the pen as they could not fix it.KJ was helpful and prompt with his communication with me.

Extremely rude sales staff. I was spoken to in a condescending manner and the staff acted like I was a burden for wanting to try 2 particular models. I mentioned not being in a position to make a purchase as I wanted to keep researching & was promptly told “Well buying online kills this business”.Attitude like that is a real shame and only hurts their business.

I’m very disappointed in the discrimination from staff today. I have previously bought multiple items from this store without issue, but today the old Australian lady with curly grey hair serving me outrightly told me she refused to let me try a fountain pen as she feared I would damage it and kept asking me about my budget range and only willing to show me budget pens she thought I would be better off with. Luckily the knowledgeable male staff member with beard was able to let me try the pen that I initially wanted. But the damage has been done I won’t be buying again from this store
